They put it on the nano because the nano is easy to carry and you can shoot fast easy videos on-the-go. I have one and it is awesome, the video effects are amazing and if you drop it, you'd probably expect it to break but it doesn't my has been dropped so many times but it still works fantastic. I advise people to get it if you like shooting videos.

ofc they're gonna release an ipod touch with camera, and a camera that can take photos (what the nano's one doesn't take). This is just marketing to sell their products, and the ipod touch can't stay in the way of iphones, that's the reason ipod touch does't have so many features as it could have.

they put it on the Nano so people get into the Nano series to. Nano got more releases that the touch. atleast with more specs. still think the touch is better @ beeing multifunctional, but its not realy a mp3 player. more a PDA. The nano is.
