i am an american but i wholeheartedly believe that we make inefficient, high hp, low performance cars. case in point: the closest performance competition of an srt-10 viper is a 111s elise. 8.4 litre v-10 versus 1.8 litre i4. 600 hp versus 143 hp. euro and japanese cars alike will dominate their particular corner of the sports car market because they continually and instinctively think outside the box and build cars for the masses, not just cars for heavy-footed americans.
