  • Hello Marc,

this tune is nice, too. really really good. the eminent incl. the EH SS Phaser sounds so brilliant. you play it with passion.

  • @fystasjoppheng Thanks :)

  • Beautiful thanks

  • @phillipdavidhowells Thank you :)

  • Great sound! JMJ would be very pleased to know, I think, whene he finds out, that there are more artists like him, makingthis sort of music.

    Keep up the good work.

(p.s. is it possible that I can get a mp3 version from this?)

  • @C0M8iCHR157 Thanks for your great comments!

I'm working on a CD with all of my tracks on You Tube, but it does take a while!

  • @magevers Give me a sign, when the moment is there, so I can purchase (or download, if you put on the internet as a (free) download).

  • @C0M8iCHR157 I will do, thanks !

  • Very nice. Like that lead. Beautiful. And I think Kitaro more than vangelis on this track.

  • @Booger6995 Thanks for your nice comments !

  • That is very nice... Love those synth sounds and the melodies.

  • @DjHyphie Thanks a lot !

  • Again very nice! I love the JMJ style Eminent strings!

  • Thanks Dennis for your nice comments!

  • Wow that sh3a really sings....lovely lead

  • Thanks for your nice comments!

  • Beauty... Thanks

  • Thanks for your nice comments!

  • Very beutifull

I think sometimes the more simple idea's are the best, pad and lead done properly like this are very provoking, very emotional.

    A+ ;-)

  • Thanks for your comments :)

  • Really great! This would not be misplaced on a Vangelis or Kitaro album.

  • Thanks Frank for your great comment!

  • very nice piece it moved me a lot ! there is a lot of nostalgia in it, the eminent strings are like a "memory gate" a direct access to our childhood's innocents feelings! the piece sounds to me like a kinda duet between JMJ and Kitaro ! thank you !

  • Thanks for your very nice comments!

  • Amazing!!

    Very ispired.

Did you use any chorus effect on the pad or on the lead?

  • I used a Roland DEP-5 (delay + a little chorus) for the both.

    Thanks for your comments!

  • Thanks.

So this wasn't recorded in one direct take, but in two, right?

  • No, this was recorded one 2 tracks in one

    take.

The signals from the eminent and the SH-3a go through the dep-5 to 2 tracks.

The dep-5 has a stereo output.

  • But on this way you should have the lead on the left channel of Dep-5 and the eminent on the right of dep-5 (for example).

But on the final track both signals are on both outputs (left & right).

    How it's possibile?

You have to excuse me, I'm only trying to learn something from an expert composer like you. :-)

  • I make, after the recording, a finaly mix of the two signals and so I can decide with the pan adjustment of the mixer where the signals are in the stereo signal:

in this track both signals are in the middle of the stereo signal.

I hope I explain it well for you :)

  • Well, maybe I've quite understand. At dep-5 stereo outputs you have the eminent on the left out and the roland on the right (for ex.) but then you pan these to signal with the mixer in the middle of the stereo signan, right?

    thank you!

  • Correctly, you got it totally right!

  • love it mate... that emminent has a sound of its own dunnit... amazing stuff mate :)

  • Thank you very much!

  • When Im looking of this "wonders" I would to touch it all even for a while, but I can only listen :\

  • Thanks for your comment !

  • Excellent job!

Which small stone's version do you got?

  • Thanks for for your nice comments!

I used a old version from the early 80's.

  • Very, very nice...

  • Thanks for your nice comments!

  • Oh my god.

    What a beautiful work.

What kind of effect did you use?

  • Thanks for your very nice comment!

I used the Roland DEP 5 for delay and

sonar 8 for de stereo reverb.

  • Thanks!

I love that SH-3a lead sound!

Which of the three envelopes did you use for VCF and VCA?

  • I used only the ADSR evelope for the VCF

    and VCA.

  • legendary Eminent!! mpthing comes close to it.

you are lucky guy !!! :o)
