very nice piece it moved me a lot ! there is a lot of nostalgia in it, the eminent strings are like a "memory gate" a direct access to our childhood's innocents feelings! the piece sounds to me like a kinda duet between JMJ and Kitaro ! thank you !
I make, after the recording, a finaly mix of the two signals and so I can decide with the pan adjustment of the mixer where the signals are in the stereo signal:
in this track both signals are in the middle of the stereo signal.
Well, maybe I've quite understand. At dep-5 stereo outputs you have the eminent on the left out and the roland on the right (for ex.) but then you pan these to signal with the mixer in the middle of the stereo signan, right?
very good!

Great sound! JMJ would be very pleased to know, I think, whene he finds out, that there are more artists like him, makingthis sort of music.
Keep up the good work.
(p.s. is it possible that I can get a mp3 version from this?)

Very nice. Like that lead. Beautiful. And I think Kitaro more than vangelis on this track.

Very beutifull
I think sometimes the more simple idea's are the best, pad and lead done properly like this are very provoking, very emotional.
A+ ;-)

Amazing!!
Very ispired.
Did you use any chorus effect on the pad or on the lead?
axelskate77 2 years ago
I used a Roland DEP-5 (delay + a little chorus) for the both.
Thanks for your comments!
magevers 2 years ago
Thanks.
So this wasn't recorded in one direct take, but in two, right?
axelskate77 2 years ago
No, this was recorded one 2 tracks in one
take.
The signals from the eminent and the SH-3a go through the dep-5 to 2 tracks.
The dep-5 has a stereo output.
magevers 2 years ago
But on this way you should have the lead on the left channel of Dep-5 and the eminent on the right of dep-5 (for example).
But on the final track both signals are on both outputs (left & right).
How it's possibile?
You have to excuse me, I'm only trying to learn something from an expert composer like you. :-)
axelskate77 2 years ago
I make, after the recording, a finaly mix of the two signals and so I can decide with the pan adjustment of the mixer where the signals are in the stereo signal:
in this track both signals are in the middle of the stereo signal.
I hope I explain it well for you :)
