I have to agree, T3 arrival is the one compared to graphics and the effects.
They could create a better T3, maybe a man terminator as savior of John and Arnold as the villain. James Cameron as the director! Maybe in my imagination, what ever!
Okay so for me, I love T1, I love T2, but as a little girl, that scene where Sarah gets disintegrated with that nuclear or explosion or whatever kinda got me traumatized for some reason xD, T3, didn't like it, AT ALL. T-Salvation, I really really liked it :)
@theHoustonStrangler When you pop your tire, it only looks disinflated because the weight of the car is pushing down on it. In this case, it's the last tire at the back of truck, so it still has support by the other wheels, so it'll hold it's form. Real question is why it didn't melt or anything.
Thats because T3 made the stupid move of trying to be its own film instead of a Terminator film. Jonathan Mostow probably only saw the first two films one time each and figured he would wing it from there. He failed...miserably.
Those of you saying he turned into a disgusting softy in T2 need to STFU -_- It was a good movie. Arnold was still badass in T2 and it's one of the greatest action movies ever. I actually liked the idea of John having an awesome cyborg ally alongside him in that movie. That would kick ass, admit it. :P besides, if all the T101 did was be evil the entire franchise, it would get pretty old and boring quickly in my opinion...just look at the Saw movies, those are getting predictable and stupid.

first terminator was more scarey than anything else second tried toi make more call 3rd one was more comcial than anything else. i like terminator one the best cept special effects wise in that way 2 is much better. story wise and acting wise one is though.

@flakelorenz02 Dude, once you get ripped I mean REALLY ripped like Arnold, It becomes very easy to get back into shape, well easier. It's not amazing at all, besides Arnold is a T-101 Living tissue over a metal endoskeleton he doesnt NEED to get back into shape he always will be =)!
@FreemanLambda I think part of the reason it becomes "easier" is because it's a lifestyle. Once one dedicates that much time and effort into the lifestyle, it becomes part of them. Arnold IS a bodybuilder. Always will be.

Arnold looked and acted like a bonafide German Nazi in the first Terminator. Almost like a Waffen SS soldier. He was terrifying in the first film which is the darkest one to date.
Nice post. T1 was the best arrival- Arnie looked mean and massive. T2 was good - he looked mean. T3 was impressive because he was so old and had a great physique.
Terminator 2: More entertaining, lighter and funnier overal
Terminator 3: Hardly remember it, quite a weak clone of numbe 2, without the humor and where john connor turned into a pussy for some reason
Terminator 4: Just saw it, and better than i thought (I had low expectations),cause they actually threw in something new. The terminators there come across as a little funny. Like you can't take them too seriously. They're so dumb they all run windows 95 or something

T4 pay's homage to all the wrong things when they could've made reference to how some humans were kept alive to work for skynet, like what kyle talked about in the first movie & also the scientist working for skynet, which was in the original script and shot, but got deleted & in the final film u see only one guy running around in a lab coat which made no sense cause they never established it..

I saw both T3 and T4. T3 was a big joke. Horribe script and horrible acting, and I hated John, that character was so pathetic T4 was OK, but not more. None of them worthy of being in the Terminator sequel at all IMO. It should've ended with T2.

Typical generic clone that thinks T2 was better than T1. T2 was gay as shit. They softened Arnold in that one, and made him take orders from a fucking child. In T1 Arnold was a straight bad motherfucker. Not to mention in T1 he punched a hole through a guy's stomach. T1 was way way better.
T1 was better, period. First movie was more like an adrenaline rush on top of an amazing storyline. If you saw the first without seeing the second, the first likely blew you away. The second was good, but the first was great. Close to a perfect movie.

T-800 is a strong model. Remember, in Terminator 1, it was really hard to kill. Then in T2, the T-800 went through a ton of abuse fighting a much more advanced T-1000. Same with T3. In Terminator Salvation, that T-800 was only taking on humans with regular machine guns. If you're talking about the molten steel thing, it's because it wasn't submerged in it long enough (remember in T2 it took a little time for him to die).
Oh, my apologies then. The flesh has never really wieghed down the endoskeletons -- they are far too powerful to be truly encumbered in such a way. You are right though, about the T-850 being faster and more agile in addition to its greater strength and durability -- I checked the wiki and a few other sources, all of which confirm this.
So? If the T-X plasma gun couldn't kill a T-850, I doubt it could kill a much more advanced T-1000. I still think the T-X is more of a downgrade and that made T3 less exciting than T2.
T-850 is designed specifically to withstand plasma attacks, hence why it was damaged rather than destroyed.
The T-X IS a substantial upgrade over the T-1000 series. The T-X's plasma cannon is powerful enough to destroy a T-1000 with a single direct hit from its plasma cannon, as proven when it fought the T-1002 and emerged victorious (finishing it off with a single plasma blast).
Actually, YOU are wrong. Get your facts straight. Check the terminator wiki. The T-850 was considerably stronger and more durable, specifically hardened to withstand plasma attacks. I erred, but previous wiki info told me different. I like this better, T-850 is a big upgrade with many modifications and far more dangerous, now that is cool.
T1:1984 Arnold:37; T2:1991 Arnold: 44; T3:2003 Arnold:56. You can really see how Schwarzenegger has aged trough the years in these videos. I watched a 1991 interview with David Letterman in which Arnold stated that his weight was currently 215 (so during T2 at age 44 Schwarzenegger weighed 215 lbs). In the same video Arnold stated that in his prime (at age 23) his weight was 250 lbs and that he worked out 4 hours a day, he cut that work out to 1 hour a day by age 44/T2.
I dont know how much Arnold weighed during T1 or T3 but I doubt it was the same, he was definitely less buff as the years went by and his body aged. Arnolds peak height has been recognized as being 6'1.5" (barefoot) though he claims a full 6'2". I think that Schwarzeneggers body might have been CGI enhanced (or altered with makeup) for T3 since he did not look that buff in pictures taken shortly afterwards and also his skin looked pretty young and elastic/milky.

Typical generic clone that thinks T2 was better than T1. T2 was gay as shit. They softened Arnold in that one, and made him take orders from a fucking child. In T1 Arnold was a straight bad motherfucker. Not to mention in T1 he punched a hole through a guy's stomach. T1 was way way better.

T1 was better, period. First movie was more like an adrenaline rush on top of an amazing storyline. If you saw the first without seeing the second, the first likely blew you away. The second was good, but the first was great. Close to a perfect movie.
Storyline = Perfect
Acting = Perfect
Effects = Good for the time.
Overall presentation = 9.9/10.0
A masterpiece.

T-800 is a strong model. Remember, in Terminator 1, it was really hard to kill. Then in T2, the T-800 went through a ton of abuse fighting a much more advanced T-1000. Same with T3. In Terminator Salvation, that T-800 was only taking on humans with regular machine guns. If you're talking about the molten steel thing, it's because it wasn't submerged in it long enough (remember in T2 it took a little time for him to die).

Just remember that it wasn't a T-800 in T3 -- it was a T-850, which although visually identical, was a major upgrade in strength and durability.

Oh, my apologies then. The flesh has never really wieghed down the endoskeletons -- they are far too powerful to be truly encumbered in such a way. You are right though, about the T-850 being faster and more agile in addition to its greater strength and durability -- I checked the wiki and a few other sources, all of which confirm this.

So? If the T-X plasma gun couldn't kill a T-850, I doubt it could kill a much more advanced T-1000. I still think the T-X is more of a downgrade and that made T3 less exciting than T2.

Canonical facts:
T-850 is designed specifically to withstand plasma attacks, hence why it was damaged rather than destroyed.
The T-X IS a substantial upgrade over the T-1000 series. The T-X's plasma cannon is powerful enough to destroy a T-1000 with a single direct hit from its plasma cannon, as proven when it fought the T-1002 and emerged victorious (finishing it off with a single plasma blast).

T1:1984 Arnold:37; T2:1991 Arnold: 44; T3:2003 Arnold:56. You can really see how Schwarzenegger has aged trough the years in these videos. I watched a 1991 interview with David Letterman in which Arnold stated that his weight was currently 215 (so during T2 at age 44 Schwarzenegger weighed 215 lbs). In the same video Arnold stated that in his prime (at age 23) his weight was 250 lbs and that he worked out 4 hours a day, he cut that work out to 1 hour a day by age 44/T2.

I dont know how much Arnold weighed during T1 or T3 but I doubt it was the same, he was definitely less buff as the years went by and his body aged. Arnolds peak height has been recognized as being 6'1.5" (barefoot) though he claims a full 6'2". I think that Schwarzeneggers body might have been CGI enhanced (or altered with makeup) for T3 since he did not look that buff in pictures taken shortly afterwards and also his skin looked pretty young and elastic/milky.
