The way he feels the music instead of just singing the words is what adds the emotion, anyone can simply sing the words, it takes a true artist to add emotion and meaning

You can be emotive without mumbling... Take someone like Annie Lennox as a perfect example. Or Harry Connick... the virtual drip emotion in their songs, but you can hear every single syllable.

Well I find he does it on Brave too... that's where it started for me... Seasons End and Holidays in Eden were more straight up rock albums though too. Seasons End is still my favourite record with him singing... by a mile. The Space is one mf my favourite Marillion tunes with either singer.

Must agree with the comments about Radiation, but 'Now she'll Never Know' is excellent better production would have been better-Should get better media attention thats for sure when you listen to some of the crap out there that passes for music!
