from the videos I'm watching, these canon cameras have some sort of algorithm that saturates blue. Everything looks more blueish than normal. like, the elph cameras, the sx230, etc.

Rickalex, 1080 video takes more time to edit...i film commercials for t.v. 720p with my pro video cam.

agree with the above...too saturated, and way too much blue compared to other colors

I agree, the color is very saturated... can't even see the stars on the flag...

The colors seem highly saturated, but contrast is low. Did you set this in the settings?

This was filmed in auto setting. Its a great camera. It takes great photos and videos and fits in your pocket.

@GABRIEL773FILMS I was thinking the same thing. Seems a bit too colorful. Looks great , great video. I was wondering the same thing. I think by the time anyone reads this I would have bought this one. I was thinking about the 100 HS but I don't need 1080p video.
