After seeing this is reminded me of a question I often wonder about. I've read that people with autism like to stick to defined paths and don't like walking places where a clear path does not exist, such as a field or sand on a beach. My daughter is completely opposite, she runs to the side of paths, trying to avoid the route. I was just wondering what is going through your mind when you see the path, the surrounding grass and the bend in the path.
did someone tape you doing this? i just came across your videos and would like to say that you are an amazing person. i worked with autistic children (mainly) and enjoyed every min it of. there is this 12 yr old i been with since he was 9 and his teachers nor his parents help him. its awful how people can take advantage of those who need more help. *safe hugs* if you'd like some.
Hmm... interesting. Pretty neat, yet I would find it impossible to comprehend a regular day-to-day aspect of someone with different views than mine. Then again, we're not so different, then are we?
This was actually something I just embedded somewhere else in a different context. But bends/lines sometimes do that to me when I'm standing up, they somehow come across as a sudden barrier.
very interesting, if i may ask a question, in that type of situation do you perceive the bend in the sidewalk well before you reach it? or do you perceive it right as you come upon it?
interesting, constantly interacting with all aspects of your environment, what was the (apperant to me) distraction when you came to the bend in the sidewalk?
If I may ask nicely...what is the funnest part of your day?
