That was enough graphics for me. And the Gamecube was it for me, cause it wasn't about the gameplay anymore. It was all about how realistic we could make a wave, coming up the shoreline. N64 was actually the last console that cared about gameplay, not just try to think they care.

I loved the multiplayer of this game but the single player story didn't deliver.

(Spoiler alert)

When the guy scored 11 at the end I couldn't really care because we got no backstory.

The graphics & sound still work great thanks to the latest Pongengine 3.

Funny. In modern games I can score multiple headshots in an FPS, build an unstoppable defense in a tower defense game, perfectly time jumps in a platformer, and sneak through some of the most gaurded places in the world in stealth games. My uncle gave me & my brother PONG around 1979/1980. About 10 years ago I was cleaning out my parents storage shed and found it. It had gotten a little damp along with some 1979 baseball & football cards. I chucked them. Now I hate myself for it. Maybe some of that stuff could have been salvaged. Not sure what the value of a PONG set, but they will be collectors items one of these days like everything else that people find nostalgic from their childhoods. I was smart and save my Atari from 1982.

So Pong was not the first game.
