A christian is a follower of Christ. Catholics follow whatever the Pope says. The Pope is "infallible" according to them.
Whereas Christians believe every persons interpretations are to be subjected under careful examination of the Holy Scripture. Jesus told us to be like the Bereans, examining every word out of someone's mouth to see if the Bible backs it up.

No, Catholicism is not an accepted form of Christianity. The BIBLE defines what a christian is, not man or a group of men. Only the Bible defines what christianity is. Just because someone puts a cross on a building, doesn't mean it is a christian building. It doesn't matter if 2 billion people say it is. WHat matters is what God says in the BIble.

According to the Old Testament, God gave decree for the Israelites for the genocide of the Amalekites only sparing their female virgins (you can probably guess as to why they did that), so take that for what you will. Personally, I take all holy books to be man-made, but I do know the Catholic church was the first Christian church so any Catholic can make the same claim you make agaisnt them against you with some actual historicity on their side.

I think it's high time for the media focus more attention on the infidelities of McCain. It's obviously a very important issue to Conservative voters, so why is the media ignoring it?
