@swordsallday Yes. What you are describing is a Shiba trait. They are very independent and are sometimes very aloof. Most Shibas are not like Yuki in this video. Most are very stubborn and will not listen to you. Not because they are dumb, but because they don't feel like it. =)

I would STRONGLY encourage you to NOT get a Shiba as your first dog. There's a strong chance that dog ends up in an SPCA.

@pastlifeconflict Because Shibas are very stubborn and will own the space unless you really work at keeping them under control. They become little demons quick. Many people think "oh they are so cute" and have no clue what they are in for. They are GREAT dogs, but require a lot of experience and good training to have a great dog that is integrated into the home, as opposed to running the home. LOL. Shiba owners know exactly what I'm talking about. Do your research first. :)
