Mrs. P wasn't created and added to the Today's Special story line until the episode "Boxes and Boxes" which aired in the following season.

If Jeff, Jodie, Sam, and Muffy were expected to leave the store, I wonder why Mrs. Pennypacker (or is it called Mrs. P. if everyone calls her that mostly) was not on this Part 1 and Part 2 of these "Our Story" episodes since she is also a friend of Jeff, Jodie, Sam, and Muffy who works in the store too.

@vroota42 Oh yes that's right. I forgot about that. I remember these "Our Story" episodes were in the year 1983, and Mrs. Pennypacker was first seen on the episode titled "Boxes and Boxes" in the year 1984.
