  • I don't care how different the movie was to the book I grew up with it and I still love it.

  • I'd hate Never ending Story if it had this Lord of the Rings/anime style. The whole appeal is its different from the rest visually. It has a bit of that German expressionist feel and the bizzare creatures and designs. Also the trailer is all action packed and epic feeling. I didn't get that from the book. Yeah there was a battle, but it paled in comparison to the setting, the characters, and the story. The book mostly focused on creating a world, not basking in action.

  • @90sJunkie1

No argument. At the time I couldn't express that very accurately given the materials I had to hand.

But what I was trying to get across was that remake on Neverending wouldn't have to be a kiddie movie. There was a much more dynamic, deep, and adventuresome tale that had yet to be told.

  • @bloodrunsclear

Oh then that's completely understandable. Man I'm nervous about this reboot. I'm against it because remakes are almost always terrible, and I'm afraid they're going to ruin it with modernity and CGI, but on the other hand, I'm always hopeful that they'll make something on par with the original and respectful to the source material without being afraid of having dark moments. I used to love darker aspects to movies as a kid and I turned out fine.

  • @90sJunkie1

I'd rather it be more like Lord of the Rings then Narnia. Not in that there'd be wall to wall action, but that the aspects of the world would be crafted to look lived-in, unique to the people and places. Narnia seemed to me to go for flash over substance, but the best kind of fantasy is not the kind that continually draws attention to its fantastic elements IMHO.

I might make another trailer with the new movie Immortals. That has a great sense of dream-like atmosphere.

  • also, very very nice video

  • im sorry, i cant allow bashing the first movie, its the only one out of the movies, the mini series, and the animated series, which actually has decent to good acting, atmosphere, subtly (in comparison to the others), actually conveys some sort of themes and ideas, and at times is emotive.

yes, it wasnt as great as it couldve been, but its the best adaptation we have right now, so please if youre gonna attack a story based on the book, pick one that is actually shit, i recommend the 3rd movie

  • hey! nice trailer. thanks for posting this... and i totally agree with you!! they really should remake this movie as you said... it would be a huge hit!! i hope it happens =D and youve inspired me to read the original book! thanks =D

  • I enjoyed the film more than the book. I was looking forward to reading the book considering how much better it was supposed to be, but it was so different from the film. It was a good book though.

  • @Pommit

Um...why did you like the movie better?

The book was different because it was more complex, had themes that made sense.

You should have liked the book better BECAUSE it was different XD

  • @bloodrunsclear - Because I had a very certain idea of who the characters were and what the story was like and who the places in the story looked like, but the book is very different and doesn't really do much for the imagination. The best way to explain is that the characters are not that fantastical. Nothing about them seems that interesting.

  • @bloodrunsclear - Because I had a very certain idea of who the characters were and what the story was like and who the places in the story looked like, but the book is very different. It is very intricate but the characters are not that fantastical really and the book leaves less to the imagination than the movie in a sense. I think the movie was very epic. I thought it was a shame to find that the Empress KEEPS needing a new name and that people lose their mind in Fantasia, etc

  • indeed

thanks for a new look at an old favorite

  • Cool. What movies and music your used for this trailer?

  • This is excellent! Grew up with the film. Read the book a few years back. It's awesome, and I agree with you. Well done if you made this!

  • This is excellent! Did you make this? I am a huge fan of the book, and I agree with you. I grew up with the film and love it. I read the book a few years back, and it's awesome.

  • This is amazing, I'm not sure how you put this together, but Its beautiful. I truly hope and pray that they take The Neverending Story and redo it as it should be.

  • ye, the movies differ from the book but i like the innocent feel of the first movie over the bloodiness of the second part of the book. but it would be nice to see a movie more accordingly to the book (although i can tell you it wont beat the first movie, at least personally)

btw, u got the auryn wrong, it really is two snakes forming an oval, not the symbol that appears in your clip.

  • I still think Lord of the Rings is a good example. Those movies weren't bloody or over reliant on effects or violence to tell a good story :)

As for the symbol that's the one from the movies. It actually is two snakes biting each other's tails, but they're tied in knots.

  • @bloodrunsclear Warner Bros., The Kennedy/Marshall Co., and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way are in the early stages of rebooting the franchise by re-adapting Michael Ende's novel of the same name. They intend to "examine the more nuanced details of the book" rather than remake the original film by Wolfgang Petersen.

  • @Sweetmervs

Oh thank goodness! I heard disturbing rumors at one point they were going to remake it like they remade Clash of the Titans, with idiotic 'extreme' flourishes and tons of CGI :/

  • I read the book, and it is EPIC AND AWESOME!

My favorite part of it was when Falcore was first introduced, in a seemingly hopeless situation he was probably going to die from. He really WAS lucky. :D

  • they are making one sceduled to premiere in 2012.

  • damn! it looks like a middle age fantasy clip. why must be everything fucked up by Hollywood? better make a huge production based on the original story! this middle quality shit here destroyes the image of the original one.

  • Um...what?

I edited this together myself, so thanks :/

  • It's an amazing book (especially the part with the childlike empress talking with the old man of wandering mountain, thats the best part) and would make an amazing movie with our technology able to make the movies the 80's weren't quite capable of creating. Keeping that in mind the original will always hold a place in my heart, but am still hopeful, and excited for this release!

  • I grew up on the movie, I loved the movie, and the "Neveredning Story" song. It's one of my favorites. I read the book about a year ago and realized how much they changed the movie, escpecially the sequals.... I still love the movie but hope, and can't wait, for the sequal to be much more like the book!

  • The way I see it, I great remake has to both re-envision the subject matter and be reminiscent of the original to bring the nostalgic emotion. Remakes that just do one or the other are usually poorly received. I think the perfect remake would stay true to the book, but contain little nods to the original. Even though you can't use the Limahl song even as background music, I think you'd have to include the Ivory Tower theme. Those little bits would make it accessable to the general public.

  • Just finished the book this morning. It's much better then the movies, and if a movie is made that's more faithful to the book, it'd be one of the only times a re-make is justified.

  • screw(the woman who created him sucks) Harry Potter!

Viva Lord of the Rings! Narina(Becuz both book series are older)

I personally liked Fantasy(Tom Curise & Tim Curry movie), Conan, Red Sonja, Never Ending Story better those are my favorite fantasy movies. And may be Willow.

  • screw you for hating harry potter, I love all those books

  • whats funny about this trailer is that theres no bastion in it at all. theres nothing that people would be able to easily distinguish this as neverending story.

  • @AdoptPaopuPals

Bastian used AURYN's power to give himself a new appearence. He didn't like being a little fat kid that got picked on, so he made himself powerful and handsome; so he won't look like the person he was in our world, in Fantastica.

  • I've read the book and honestly I prefer the first film to the first half of the book. The second half of the book however, much much better than the film sequels.

  • They can't make the remake with out the all beautiful childlike empress (Tami Stronach).

  • Where did the part of the video from 0:46 come from? That looks pretty cool.

  • ,but who in hollywood would actually have the guts to stand up and say to the producers, that they will do it directly from the book keeping everything as is? i very much doubt there is a single director who would or could, which is unfortunate, when it come to a true modern classic such as this, but with that said and at 33 now saying this here's hoping that someone does and they do the book true justice .

  • A remake would be incredible, but only if for once they actually and properly stick to the book, too many films are made and they adapt the book to fit, this is one that should not be altered in any way at all,it lays itself out perfectly to be turned into a screenplay and as for the effects, there would be no issue achieving them now.

  • You can now get the orient symbol on ebay! I saw that & couldn't believe it!

  • Aaaa!!! Awsome!!!! Fantastic work, and i have red all that you wrote, and totally agree with you! I would like that Peter Jackson be a producent, or director of whole thing! Tell me only one thing, what movies did you put in this video?

  • The problem I have with this rendition is that it looks like a stereotypical, medieval warfest, with the forgettable opera music so prevalent in "epic" movies nowadays. It's like a Lord of the Rings copy :/ Needs something to make it more unique, especially soundtrack-wise.

Also, the fact that the first movie is very unlike the book doesn't make the movie any less of a classic.

  • Don't worry it will be unique all right when Hollywood puts the quote unquote 'modern' twist to it :/

  • @SuicuneSol That is why I like the first movie better it took place in a world I've never seen before. The new version looks like a Lord of the Rings rip-off to me!

I loved the Ivory Tower and the musical score for the First movie!

  • Um, I'm flattered you thought this was the real deal, but I edited this together myself XD

Actually if you read the original book its very much like Lord of the Rings. I wish I could have used more interesting clips :/

  • yeah that would be great. Die unendliche Geschichte,..or the Neverending Story was wonderfull as a book.

It really helped M. Ende to fame.

A remake would definatley work well!

And there is annother Movie which would benefit from a remake: Super Mario Brothers..i mean the life action one -.-.

keep up the great work, maybe someday a Mario Bros trailer?

    best wishes from germany

    M. Pflieger

  • Yeah, What is da music

  • What's the name of the song you used here? It's awesome

  • I completely agree with the poster, except on one issue....the music!

Limahl's theme for it is admittedly dated, and has nothing to do with the actual story, so that can go, but the "Falcor Flying" theme MUST be kept. It is beautiful, thrilling, catchy, and most of all fits the feel for the story so perfectly well.

The only thing I'm worried about with a remake is that they give it to some hack. I'd love to see Del Toro, or even Tim Burton do this justice.

  • ahhh! where is my favourite character? where is Xayide?!?!

  • She's there, but only for a second, looking suspiciously out of her palanquin at 0:27!

  • its she? but in book she has red hair and two colour eyes- green and red. And from whih movie is this video?

  • Look, I'd film this movie to be more accurate if I could! XD

That's a scene from Kingdom of Heaven.

  • anyway its good to know im not only person who read book:)

  • I love the book! I hear they are making a remake, but the description of 'modern' remake worries me.

  • who is making remake? warner bros? wolfgang petersen? i really like old movie and i hope they dont make new one.

  • wow, neva knew it was a book?!?! hmm...But nice vid man!

  • now you know so... you should read it:)

  • While I love the original (it's just so nostalgic), I'm excited at the prospect of a reboot that's more like the book. However, the music (besides the theme and Moroder's additions) is iconic! Doldinger's score is absolutely amazing, and I hope they use cues from it in the new film.

  • NIIIIIIIICE VID.

    thanks man

  • there are rumors spreading that Peter Jackson, tim burton or gulliermo del toro might be doing the remake. If peter Jackson doesn't do this remake what would you think of the other two?.

  • I frankly hope that Jackson does it because he isn't afraid to make things hopeful and epic. Tim would feel too inclined to make it dark or a mind f*** which is NOT necessarily what this story should be, and Gulliermo I frankly think gets bogged down in visuals oftentimes and loses the characters and story sometimes.

    Come on Jackson!

  • what do you mean modern re- imagining?

  • I don't know O_o

    It doesn't sound good.

  • GREAT NEWS! The neverending story is in the process of being rebooted!

  • I am glad the pitch for the film involves picking up 'elements of the story left out in the original film' but what really makes me nervous is the director's statement 'It will be a modern re-imagining of the story.'

No no no no no no... X(

  • Dear WB:

Watch Walden's "Chronicles of Narnia" movies until your eyes bleed. That's how you do book movies. No "twists" or "reimaginings". Just great stories done right.

  • I completely agree. I even felt that the recent Lord of the Rings, for its bouts of curious decisions, was a fantastic adaptation! Its too bad movies like The Golden Compass and Eragon learned all the wrong lessons from those films.

  • @ilnaras the first neverending story book was better than that narnia crap...

  • i agree with you but the fact of the many colored death not being in the movie is just horrible

  • SWEET!!!

  • very nice really epic

  • I wonder if they are going to make a new sequel.

  • I sitll have yet to read the book - but was the film really that bad (the first one)?

  • It's a classic as 80's fantasy movie, it's softly based on the book (plot and some concepts) but it's far away to be an adaptation of the book. Has been released today a note about the production of a new film about it and they say it's going to be closer. Hope so....

  • Nooo I'm sorry but I really think a remake would just take the magic away from the awesome original (Do what you will to the sequels though!) It's a great trailer you made but I do think that the original is fine as it is, and there was no battle scene so I would wonder how that fits in, because it's against pretty much an unseen force "The Nothing". But really, a great job! Well done!

  • Have you ever read the book? The movie is fine as a children's fantasy, but the book was actually quite a bit more. For instance, the war is actually Bastian besieging the Ivory Tower, something be does in the book!

A remake I don't think would detract from the original, just as the remakes nowadays don't destroy the originals.

  • I've been looking for that book everywhere, just can't find it. And I can't buy stuff from the internet either :(

  • Oh c'mon Puffy, you can take it free from the internet if you can't find it. Or answer me with some contact info and I'll find and send you it. If you really wanna read it...

  • Okay I didn't think of that. No worries, though!

  • Actually it was Atreyu who assaulted the Ivory Tower, to stop Bastian from proclaiming himself childlike emperor and to make him give up the Auryn. Awesome trailer though, although i fear a remake would just fokus on special effects rather than the meaning of the book.

  • what's the music you used?

  • This makes me want to go buy the book, the movie sucked. And the dragon looked like a fluffy dog.

  • Thanks,I really wish you could read the scripts,it is really awesome but as i said there is diffrences from the book I made a list here:

1.Bastian isn't overweight but has a frail build and wears glasses.

2.The film takes place in 2008

3.Bastians father only appears very briefly near the end of the 3rd movie.

If you don't like the changes i can get rid of them.

  • That was an awesome trailer,They seriously need to do a remake of the movie and Peter Jackson should direct it since the lotr films were faithful to the books. I even wrote my own remake trilogy of the film, its very faithful to the book but it just has a few diffrences.

  • Do you have a Deviantart account? I'd love to read that!

Thank you. I do indeed think Jackson would be the one to make a faithful, entertaining, and poignant remake.

  • Ditto with everything you've pointed out here. Have just started reading the book for the 3rd time, and it's by far the best book ever, fantasy at its very best.

When I was a kid and saw the old movies, I thought they were good (well, perhaps not the 2nd one...), but after reading the book, you realize how few things they actually brought up in the film. Remake, please!

  • That was brilliant! I loved the movie, but the book has always been the one that captured my heart. In my opinion it is one of the truly great works of fantasy and should be recognised as such! A remake would be fantastic, although I always thought the kid that played Atreyu did a damn good job and I'd hate to detract from that.

Also, the Many-Colored-Death was always my favourite bit. Brilliant, brilliant video, thumbs up!

  • I'm glad to meet another fan! Neverending remains the one book I can consistently pick up, read through, and enjoy every time. The theme of the importance of imagination but also the dangers of it I think is more important then ever to address.

Atreyu in the folm was great and one of my childhood heroes, but he needs to be green (darn it) if they make a remake :D

  • Harry Potter is my fav book series Neverending story is my fav book

  • I am weird. I am afraid to read the neverending story again. I am 16. I read it the first time when I was 11, and everytime I read a good book there is just this magic, and many years after there is still those great memories of an adventure you had alone. I really dont know if I should go and read it again I dont wanna spoil that magic.

  • It didn't spoil it for me and I'm 22! Some books only mature with age and you spot the things you missed with each new reading, like Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Wrinkle in Time (I would argue) Harry Potter.

  • that looks fucking epic

  • My grandmother has the book and I've read it THEN watched the film, the book was waaaaaaaaay better than the crappy film, actually saying that I might go read the book again, fantastic trailers by the way.

  • Thank you!

It blows my mind that they're going to remake Friday the 13th and The Birds, but they won't remake Neverending Story, or anything by Wilkie Collins (now THOSE books would make great movies)

  • Nobody knows that Bastian stabs Atreyu with Sikanda, the book was really good and the illistrations from the letters were good too, the book is more mature than the film too, I have the third but haven't watched it, is it bad?

  • That scene, the battle at the Ivory Tower, is one of the most memorable in fiction to me, especially Bastian's betrayal (it was heartbreaking compared to the rather tame version of it i in the second movie)

The third movie in my opinion is terrible. It abandons the book completely, makes up a new lame plot about the Fantasians entering the real world. It does have Jack Black in one of his first roles though XD

  • Jack Black omg lol

  • *pushes intercom* "Sarah, Get Peter Jackson on the phone" Seriously though, woah!

  • Wow, my sentiments exactly. I adore the original film, but it is utterly stand-alone and separate from the book. I was surprised when I read the book to find that the story continued on after Bastian gave the Childlike Empress a name, and after I finished it, realized that the movie cut out most of my favorite parts. Like when Atreyu meets Uyulala, and the part with the Old Man of the Mountain, and the Many-Colored Death... Well, I seem to be rambling. My point is: you did a wonderful job!

  • I still don't see how this trailer has anything to do with the Neverending Story. Its pretty nice however.

  • Have you read the original book? The movie is actually a toned down, sanitized, and simplified version of a much darker, deeper story.

  • Wow, thats one spectacular trailer. If only the film were real. I adored the Never Ending Story film as a child but I never realised there was a book. I'm a great advocate of reading the books that films are based on because they're almost always so much richer. I must go and find this book now.

Thankyou so much for bringing it to my attention!

  • I'm glad you liked it, and the book is well worth reading indeed! In it's original German, the book has the lettering actually color coded for different locations. In both English and German, each chapter begins with a each letter of the alphabet in order!

If you like the original story you might also check out Michael Ende's other stories too, like The Night of Wishes (which I think would make an excellent Tim Burtin movie myself).

  • Colour coded, cool. Never seen anyone do that before. And woohoo for Tim Burton, I can't wait to see his version of Alice in Wonderland.

  • Me neither! I wish he had done Neal Gaiman's Coroline :(

  • Coraline? That's Alice-esque is it not? And would you believe that I cannot find a single copy of the Never Ending Story anywhere. But it's OK I've ordered it.

  • Cool! Yes, Coroline was originally a very Aice-esque story (I like the word that you created) but the movie version made her American instead of English and seventeen instead of fifteen (grumble).

I still heartily recommend the book. Everyone I've passed it on to seems to enjoy it, and it's one of the most extensive adventures ever written. Also, because all of the stories in the book are hinted at continuing on with the words 'but that's another story', the book really is a never-ending story.

  • I just wanted to say thanks again for recommending the book, it finally arrived and it's amazing. I'm not to far in (damn that mounting pile of college work) but I'm already in love. Even the illustration of the letters is gorgeous.

  • I think henry selick will do a fantastic job with coraline, I've actually grown a little distrusting of burton lately. But henry selick directed the nightmare before christmas, which was wonderful. I'm hoping he'll bring that magic into coraline as well.

  • Wow. You made this yourself?!? Awesome!! It's a lot more faithful to the book.

  • very nice really epic

  • i think his vision is brilliant.. imagine if he worked with actual footage from a film, superb mate.. epic is great thats what makes good fantasy / sci-fi films.

  • Please... stop making trailers...

    Too much epicness...

    Can't take it....

  • Wicked cool trailer!! I like your vision of a remake for the NeverEnding Story. I have read the book and would love to see a remake. I think Peter Jackson of the Lord of the Rings movies would really do the book justice. I think you did a really awesome job with the trailer. Have you thought of making a NeverEnding Story version of your own on YouTube? By the way, you've got a new subscriber. =D

  • I am graduating from film school right now and I pray that I have the opportunity or the chance to pitch this idea. I LOVED the movie as a child and I never read the book. I am going out to buy it now and I love the idea of it all. I want to read it and write a proposal.

  • If there were a remake, it would have the cliche british people trying to act (Golden compass, Harry Potter). I am not saying it's bad but it's annoying. Plus its not going to have Bastians Happy Flight.

  • I don't remember if I ever saw The Neverending Story, but this makes me want to read the book. GREAT job. :) Sadly, only a few fantasy films do books justice...unlike *cough* the Harry Potter films *cough*, but I won't rant about that now ^_^

  • By the way, what is the music used on this trailer?

  • I wish I knew. It's ripped from the first trailer to Eve Online: Trinity.

  • I'm an emerging filmmaker, about to embark on my first feature film, and you've definitely got me interested in doing a N.E.S. remake someday, since it was my favorite movie as a kid.

  • Greetings fellow aspirant! Goodness I wish I could be making films rather then fake trailers...

I wish you the best, and indeed please make Neverending as it was meant to be if you get the chance! The age of fantasy it seems is upon us, but it's missing a key player.

  • I agree with you whole heartedly. They can TOTALLY remake the film and blow LOTR completely out of the water!

  • That's a tall order (I loved the trilogy) but certainly show those pretenders Golden Compass, Spiderwick, and The Dark is Rising a thing or two!

  • I've always said that The Neverending Story done right would be one of the best, if not THE best film ever made. Your trailer really made me feel that more than ever. It HAS to be done! Let's start a fund raiser. I'd like to hire Peter Jackson to direct.. any suggestions for actors?

  • Unknowns I would hope, with maybe one or two name actors (perhaps Ian Machellian playing Falcor). Unknowns would ring truer I think.

  • So many movies that could be made correctly..

The first movie of this was wonderful for me as a child, but a remake would be absolutely wonderful, i'm sure. I never read the books but I know the storyline and find it facinating.

  • I heartily recommend the book! It's in three parts two of which are somewhat covered in the first movie. The third part was the basis for the movie sequel. Only thing is there's so many characters, and dramatic moments, and meaningful messages that were lost in translation because they were too tough for kids to handle (or something).

What other movies were you thinking of? I could try and cobble together some more trailers :)

  • I'll look into it then, even though it takes me like, a year just to finish one book because of how overexcited with energy I get from reading. But it sounds like it would be well worth it. As for movies i'd love to see..ah too many to count. Though there is one that comes to mind here and would make my spirits soar to see as a movie (Though it'll sadly never be) it's from a game called NiGHTS. Reason it comes to mind is that the song "NeverEnding story" (Continued, damn youtube's word limit)

  • Makes me think on that game rather than the movie. I'm not sure why. but it's probably very wacky to hear as a movie request, and childish, and i'm sure getting the clips and such needed for a trailer would suck, so that's in no way a request. XD Another i'd love to see is Animorphs though, I couldn't ever be sure if that could be made a movie, since the story seems to fit more the book quota. But I think it's that thrill of seeing your favorite characters come to life.

  • I tried to do a Nights trailer, but I couldn't find enough footage (too bad, I was going to use Clocks by Coldplay too).

I might very well try an Anamorphs trailer though. I used to read those book too :)

  • Tha'd be fun to see!

Can't wait to see what you come up with, whatever you do next.

  • You're just thinking the same as I am !

  • Wouldn't it be great...if? :D

This series is criminally neglected in this age of re-vamped fantasy films. But then again, judging by some of the examples of this films (Beowulf chief among them) maybe it's better to wait for awhile...

  • Maybe you can send a letter to warner brothers they own the rights of the movie(the old one was by warner brothers), don't they?

  • Maybe...I just hope they don;t hire the 10,000 B.C guy or something to remake it...

  • If *I* were to make a cinematic version of TNS, it would be a two-parter, ending just as Perilin the Night Foret started to sprout. Cliffhangers rule!

This trailer is how I've envisioned Ende's masterpiece. I liked the first movie, but Mission Impossible for the second... no. WHY CAN NO ONE DO IT RIGHT?! Well, nothing says it can't be done again, especially with fantasy being so popular now.

    Then there's comics...

  • I had exactly the same idea of a two parter, ending with Perilin too! Yes, the first one was alright for what it was, but the third one...yipe.

Indeed though, if Hollywood is looking for the next trilogy, this is the one!

  • Wow!!!! This is amazing. It probably took very long to make this trailer. What movies or games did you use to make it? I haven´t read the book or watched the movie, but by watching your trailer, I will deffinetly read the book! I hope there is a new movie about it!

  • I used the trailers for the movies Kingdom of Heaven, Eragon, Spiderwick Chronicles, In The Name of the King, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Stardust, and Beowulf. I used the game trailers for Lineage 1-3, Heroes of Annihilated Empires, and Archlord. Glad you liked it. I would recommend any of Michel Ende's books if you're a fantasy lover :)

  • I'd love to do a movie based off of Momo. It's even more relevant today than when it was written.

  • Enzo d'Alo already did an animated version of Momo back in 2001. Not available in the U.S...not even sure if it's available in English.

  • Looks like it would've made an awesome movie. Great clips.

  • ADORE the book. The movies were...cute. But I tend to just pretend that one wasnt based on the other (which it wasnt much, anyway, far as I see!)

Yes, for godssake. Let Hollywood make a movie based on a book that actually FOLLOWS the original for once!

  • Well, what can I say about this? I love the book, especially as I am able to read it in the original version. I've read it frist when I was a child, but now I realised it is much darker than I thought back than. The part at the end where he is close to end in Phantasien as a mindless zombie is nothing you would expect in a story for children. So of course I think it deserves a really good movie. I'm not surprised that Ende jumped off the movie when he saw the direction it went.

  • :D

You read the original too! Everybody I know thinks those wretched (well, that might be a bit strong) movies are the whole story. I think, now that LOTR is a reality, Ende deserves his due.

Glad to meet another fan, and thanks for watching.

  • Btw, which music did you use for the trailer?

  • What song did you use? I swear I've heard it but can't place it. It's driving me nuts! :(

  • love the music ;) and the clips you have taken from games/movies! real fantasy movie :P just love it!!!

  • nice :P where to get the movie ? :)

  • Heck, if I ever make it in movies when I finally get out of school I will! 'Neverending' is my favorite book and really deserves it's due.

  • awesome dood! I always thought they should do a remake of Clash of The Titans with updated CGI

  • They are! I'm not sure whether to be happy about it either, but it I'll probably see it anyway.

  • nice!

  • Simply, "The best"

From drama, war, music, affects, had it all!

    5/5

  • Thanks! Now, if only someone would make the movie...

  • I completely agree with you right there mate. I have read the book at least 5 times. To me it only comes second after Chronicles of Narnia. How ever I think it should be made into an expensive high tech tv series in order to give the book justice & to really make it seem Neverending! However I always knew that if no one remakes it, given half the chance as a director...I would. Nice job!

  • Unfortunately there was a TV show, animated and based on the movies...which I do not remember with great charity. I always liked how the book would say 'but that's another story for another time'. If they ever made the show they'd have to put that in somehow, maybe at the end of an episode!

  • Your trailer seems to be vastly superior to the real movie, I agree that this does seem like a film that if made closer to the book would be an excellent fim.

  • Have you ever read the book?

  • Unfortunately no, but I do know that it was more of a mature novel then the movie.

  • 2 word. amazingly brilliant
