I believe you should continue to focus on "wastage" experienced by end users and the % impact on the EBITDA equated to profits.

"Losses and wastage" are key points discussed by Jonathon Manson. The "wastage" incurred in "energy critical" industrial sector enterprises. "For whom if electricity goes off their business is put into a critical situation." In my 10-15 years in ground floor power quality work I agree. More importantly the conclusion that "voltage sags" and short interrruptions that caused the main damage; up to 90% of the causes.

The challenge is to provide a consisent awareness at the executive level in order for appropriate release of capital budgets to enable our engineering and facilites group to design the better PQ systems.

I agree with the gentleman's comment that we need to present the economic and wastage associated with Power Quality issues. The findings that the cost PQ investments pay for themselves in the first year is revealing a known truth at the end user; or rather the technician closest to the issues.

This is an excellent video on Power Quality. The issues reveal that in our technically oriented society there is a better need for managers to focus on the details of manageing their operations. There is much opportunity to solve problems.
