its not that its dangerous, when you pass sailboats on the windward side, with another sailboat you block the wind.
When boats are racing you dont mess with them. The skipper of the boat with the camera is Captain Oblivous.

wow, what a dick! Overtakiing two sailboats racing, on the windward side.
When you pass other sailboats you are suppose to pass on the leeward side.

@MrHobiecat they didn't seem to mind? it's only dangerous to do if they're not aware that you're there. but since they did notice him way before hand, it's still good.
