I've been trying to figure out how to do this pattern for a long time.....thanks I think I can probably get it now after watching this video...................THANKS
Hi i have a question about the hand stiitching and the back of the quilt. I am new to quitling/sewing altogether i was wondering if you used a certain stitch and how/if there is anything to the quilt besides the muslin and window fabric. I love your video! Very simple instructions! Thanks a lot!
Sorry for the delay in responding to your comments. I made this video for my Mom, I didn't realize I made it public...(I feel silly and embarrassed now) lol
I have a hard time sending videos in emails. So what I do is post them to my youtube account and send the link. I'm now glad I made it public as it seam to be of some help! :-)
I had to experiment with the size of the window material. I ended up with 2 5/8" square.
This is a great demonstration of this pattern. The end result is beautiful! I consider myself a skilled beginner, but watching this I might try making a small table runner or something to try and learn this. Thanks for your demonstration, you explained things very well and made it look not so difficult. (but I am sure it is)
thank you for sharing your technique...to date it has been the most helpful to me...we must think along the same lines... other techniques seemed so complicated .. GREAT JOB!
I want to do a Cathedral quilt, I think they are so beautiful. Thanks for your clear, concise directions. I always wondered why people seemed to use muslin, it really takes a lot of fabric.
