The preamble of the US Constitution states to "provide for the common defense". Now over 200 years later we are still waiting for the Federal Government to secure our borders.

There is no reason to offer a free ride for criminals...

The amnesty advocates, if nothing else, are a consistent bunch. They continually pitch "comprehensive reform" as something that the American people want. They're wrong. It's just a dressed up amnesty. And in this economy particularly, nobody in his right mind wants to give legalization to 12 million plus marginally educated low-wage earners who will continue to consume far more tax money than they contribute.

CIR has to eliminate birth citizenship; has to repeal the Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966; has to enforce the Oath of Allegiance in that those naturalized citizens who vow to renounce all former citizenships, actually do that - none of this ... I had my fingers crossed nonsense. And has to reduce the numbers to manageable levels.

i thought our government was going to pass health care ,not for illegal aliens .

once it is passed then pass amnesty that will make illegals legal adding more financial strain on AMERICAN workers this whole idea of not enforcing our laws

just leads to unlimited problems,never ending unforseen. After 9-11 most people were thinking it is important to protect our borders and know who is entering the country .
