Over 20 years later the scars I carved have faded. Jesus has healed.The journey has not been easy, but His hope is real and He is here! Let me humbly speak as one who has been there, be courageous enough to put down the razor and be picked up by the only Savior. His scars will cover yours:)
i was a cutter,burner,wrist banger for 8 years. i love this song.my husband sings this to me when i am breaking..when we met i was left by my ex boyfriend the first night my husband kissed all the cuts burns on my skin saying he loved them and one day i will stop..and i finally started getting help
Thank you Jesus for loving us, scars and all...thank you for giving me a hope to keep living-for giving me a new heart-to love you, and others....help me to trust in you more and more~
@EatSleepSignSoccer it's not easy my friend. Septemeber was my one year mark and I thought id never make it there. Just trust God and he will get you through
I'm a teenage self-harm survivor...today is my 2 day mark, which is huge considering how often I would hurt myself in different ways. Thank you so much for posting this video with the lyrics....it's giving me strength to carry on though everyone in my life either doesn't know what I've done, or are not supportive.
@EatSleepSignSoccer As someone who struggles with depression and has been tempted with things such as self-harm, I can relate to what you're going through. You're not alone in this. Although some people may not understand or even know, some do understand and have been there.
@EatSleepSignSoccer I am very proud of you for going 2 days without self harming...i have times when it is hard to go 2 hours so 2 days for you is great Congrats
@EatSleepSignSoccer 1 thing i know, Jesus loves you dude really. I can't believe i can say something like this before he found me, around 2 weeks ago. With Jesus on my side, everyday is like an adventure. Go read some bible before sleep, it will cure you little by little. It helps me alot. Whereever you are, i will pray for you. God bless us.
i have his cd thius is an awesome song it breaks my heart every time i listen to it he knows GOD and i do 2 ci go to church and now relize that jesus christ is my savior he suffered for me and you
