Ok so I can't post links to other videos for some reason. Hmm. Ok folks, check out the work of Kenny Klein and his band Odd's Bodkin on his Myspace page. Mainly his song "Temple on the Stone" and "Blue Eye Pagan Girl".
I've been teaching myself folk songs, mostly Irish and English, but I've started looking for American ones. I also like to sing Pagan songs. :) I agree that American Pagans would do well to embrace our folk traditions. In many ways they were preserved better here than in their homelands.
I'm glad you made this video. I'm a hardcore banjo enthusiast, 5th generation carpenter, and grew up listening to the Stanley Brothers. The Appalachian Mountains are my home. ~Thanks
I, too, find myself looking for Canadian music that is reflective of Canada's natural spirit. In the East, they have rich Celtic-heritage music (worth hearing). Out here in BC, though, good folk and bluegrass isn't much in the limelight.

You should put a video response with this that actually shows some pagan bluegrass.
I've never heard any, and don't really know were to look.

I'm Pagan and I do play bluegrass/celtic/oldtime to tell the good ol' stories! Have to use a mandolin...it's the best!

I do a Pagan version of Old Time Religion on the mandolin! I agree! Old time music is the bardic tradition in America!
