Every one here can argue that the iPhone does not live up to the hype, in my own experiance, I can't imagine living without it, I am a Audio Engineer and I use an app on my iPhone which controls my Pro Tools audio mixer on iPhone screen and I can do multiple mixer channels at once because iPhone supports multi touch, I cant do that with a mouse as you can only controle one slider at a time with a mouse, and I can listen to streaming radio with wunder radio in my car, Wunder Is the best radio app

In fact N95 gets compared more with these winmo phones than iphone. However I did notice that HTC Touch HD is getting compared against iphone and it's really not surprising since iphone is its target market

Apple ALMOST has it nailed with the iphone, just a bit of improvements to make it easier as a phone. Like texting requires some form of physical buttons you can feel so you don't have to be looking at it, some thing more protective over the screen, that kinda stuff.

Sure iphones are good but I'm no fanboy and can also see their failures. Ive tried one and unless its jailbroken sadly its not the best of phones. I vote for either the Samsung Omnia or SE Xperia X1. Sure both of these will also having some failings but the pros out weigh the cons (iphone more cons then pros)

4. Instant messaging. Here you are wrong, once jailbroken, there are loads of instant messaging programs, all of them good, and on the 2.0 firmware, and the new iphone u have app store which has a free IM client.
5. Email. Like my above comment, good email clients are available
6. ... Especially well done for including TCPMP! It can play more then windows media player on the computer without any plugins!
7. Games. Hmm, iPhone can do pretty cool games, it has some sort of meter in it which can tell well u turn it, which makes really cool games. However obviosly windows mobile will always beat it on graphics (and they're still "crap"!)
8. Maps. iPhone comes with google maps inbuilt. But then some windows mobile phones can integrate it with there GPS

You'll need Windows for a heck of a lot of games that aren't compatible on mac. I'm not saying pc because you can use Windows on a mac...Also, many mmos aren't mac supported either.

Every one here can argue that the iPhone does not live up to the hype, in my own experiance, I can't imagine living without it, I am a Audio Engineer and I use an app on my iPhone which controls my Pro Tools audio mixer on iPhone screen and I can do multiple mixer channels at once because iPhone supports multi touch, I cant do that with a mouse as you can only controle one slider at a time with a mouse, and I can listen to streaming radio with wunder radio in my car, Wunder Is the best radio app

This Video is total Bull, I can do everything he did in this vid on my iPhone 3G and I even have the game he was playing, I can do it all but without a stylus which I love and I dont have to deal with all the annoying drop menus. Apple is the best and they will only get better.

Maybe I'm an Apple fan because I have been using everything Mac since 1997 when before that I had a dell for 1 week and sent it back. I love my iPhone because Apple is a software company 1st and they make their software to run on their hardware resulting in zero compatibility problems unlike microsoft who makes OS to run on anything. Even WinMo is crap, that is why they are failing today and I would not be surprised if they went under because Apple has finally learned marketing, & they are best.

Search for xperia x1 or htc touch pro reviews. Most are compared to each other. They might mention iphone or epia but they're directly compared against each other. In fact N95 gets compared more with these winmo phones than iphone. However I did notice that HTC Touch HD is getting compared against iphone and it's really not surprising since iphone is its target market

Apple ALMOST has it nailed with the iphone, just a bit of improvements to make it easier as a phone. Like texting requires some form of physical buttons you can feel so you don't have to be looking at it, some thing more protective over the screen, that kinda stuff.

True using a finger is easier then the stylus but the iphone has been designed with that in mind. But it is nothing a Winmo phone can't do. Mnay new Winmo phones can do it out of the box just fine and if not free apps can be downloaded to add functionality.
Iphones are good but sadly the lack a few important features, and to make them really good they have to be jailbroken which then voids any contracts u may have.

Just like EV-DO/rev A, there are different speeds available depending on your device and carrier. For an example, iPhone 3G supports HSDPA 3.6 and HTC touch pro supports HSDPA 7.2

Well my friend has a Ipod touch. He bought the rubber protecting case and when he dropped it, the screen cracked. Yea it still works but it looks like stain glass in a church. I call it the "Ipod Touch Stained Glass edition" LOL.. And that bullshit "insurance" doesnt cover personal damage so he's stuck with a cracked screen..
