Hi, i have watched all your winston videos and i must say, he is a FANTASTIC DOG!!!!! i was wondering how u trained him and how long it took because i have a 12 week old female cavalier and i have no idea where to start training wise, i have never had a dog before so do you have any tips??

He was my first dog too and we bought Good Owners, Great Dogs. That is the book I recommend. Remember some key things-Show/Tell them what you want, repeat it OFTEN and give treats (break them up small, even a crumb gets it done AND you won't get a fat dog) constantly PRAISE in a loving, higher pitched than normal voice. Your dog can do everything you see W do. Good luck and write to me anytime.

well am glad you take the time 2 upload them because i really do enjoy watching!! and this vid really inspired me to try and get my puppy 2 do this and with hard work and lots of time it worked and hez very good at it now!! x

nope, he is easy to work with. it takes longer to upload the video's correctly. where have you been fluffy? i know you love Winston but have not heard from you for a while. he has a LOT of new ones to see-look at the peanut butter video, you'll love it!
