@michaelosully1 Have you tried the cmd thing? And if so what did you type because you should have typed ren explorer.exe_old explorer.exe then run the explorer.exe, also try to see if you might have misspelled it!

please help when i restarted my computer after changing explore.exe to explorer.exe_old everything is black the desktop and the bottom taskbar is gone please help i think i might be able to fix it if i can find the original explorer.exe where would it be

@santoshreddyno1 Hey no problem for the guide and no I will not make a video on how to put the theme because it requires you do a UXTheme patch which might not work forever and might be a little different for everyone. I don't want to be the one to blame for screwing up people's machines etc

@axxaxaxx explorerframe.dll only effects the back/forward buttons in explorer and other small various things... and no you will never need to restart your computer to apply an effect.

i failed to do this the first time and i restared explorer.exe (the normal 1) to try and get back to normal, i renamed it back to explorer and nuffing happed. restarted... nuffing, couldn't access my computer nuffing like that not even CMD :O, booted up in safe mode worked... renamed files back to normal and booted into my normal user (not in safe mode) and it worked :D

I've tried this 2 different times to get somekind of "Mac" looking Theme.

So what i did was i had a explorer.exe that i downloaded so i changed my default explorer to explorer_backup and it told me in the video (Not yours) that i had to end the "explorer.exe" process in task manager so what happened was that i couldnt see my task bar, so the video told me to click "New Task" and choose the new explorer.exe and nothing happened, I tried restarting my computer and i didnt see nothing but my mouse

Cmd won't let me delete explorer.exe, it says access is denied. I've even tried Run as Administrator and it still says acess is denied. I am on an admin account.

You SHOULD have your backup named explorer.exe.old, not explorer.old, but for namesake type "explorer" and hit the tab button a few times to scroll through the names.
