I would have loved it if they continued Sonic Satam. Had the show officially continued, maybe we could have seen what else could have been explored. But at least there are the comics which are still being sold to this day.

I've just watched both of these comic parts and I gotta say I love reading them, and the music in them truly went well with every scene, speically the Invid theme when Nargus came into view at the beginning of this vid, and the music "Broken Heart" suited the scene between Sonic and Sally at 4:47.

SO? All that means is that the people who animated those eyes at the end of the cartoon forgot to watch the episode that actually had Naugus in it. That doesn't change the fact that the show's PRODUCER confirmed that it was Naugus.
@Jesterclown17 So it's a collaborative effort. Neat! When do you think the next pseudo episode will be up? I have an easier time calling this canon than the comics. It just feels more like the show.
No they did NOT screw it up. The show's producer confirmed that the red eyes belonged to Naugus, shortly after the show was canceled.
The show already had a bunch if gray-metal characters with red eyes, like Uncle Chuck, so Metal Sonic would be a stupid/pointless addition to the show.
This is awesome! This is really what Archie should have done they should have made it like the SatAM writers wanted instead of making Sonic a playboy who doesn't really do anything useful and all the spotlight goes to Sally. (ps. I like Sally in SatAM but her comic counterpart is really a jerk sue.
@pkstarstorm1up They have gotten better with her now! I blame the earlier comics mostly on ken penders and karl bollers! Ian has put a signficant amount of more action in the comics! Since sally is the leader of the freedom fighters of course you are going see her some what of the time, just like in sonic satam! Really, it's not that bad since ian flynn became the writer!

This is based on the notes of the would-be third season, right? With the awesome animation and fitting background sound this ALMOST felt like watching a short version of a real SATAM episode. Again, great work! Hope to see more.
By the way, the cut-scenes can be a little too short sometimes, but that's the only bad thing I can say about the video.
