Lots of people are happy with this guy's fix. You probably already saw it.

  • Have you tried a coffee cup that is not clear glass? My Keurig brewer instructions say the brewer cannot "see" a clear glass mug.

  • @topagent Is that a joke? How much would it cost to actually do all that? Including my time and gas? Doubtful anyone would go this far.

  • hey i just had the same problem when i looked on youtube for an answer i tried all of them and i removed the resovoir and looked in the little hole and sure enough i saw a little thin piece of plastic thread sticking out, so i removed it and flushed the system with vinegor and its back to normal again, thanks youtube people

  • My B70 did the same thing after descaling. I was going to take it apart but decided to do one last thing. I unplugged it, took it to the sink, removed the reservoir and using the flexible faucet sprayer with solid stream, I put it against the Keurig water inlet and blasted water through the unit plumbing for about 30 seconds. The problem was cured.

  • @metaspherz I work in the industry and can't tell you how many people cycle through 5-6 Keurig's in the same number of years. There are better options and better products that actually brew correctly, unlike the cowboy recipe you posted below. Fine for junk coffee, but if you're actually buying something of quality perhaps not.

  • I have the identical model with the same issue. I called Keurig Customer Service and explained my problem. As long as the item is within the 12 month warranty, they will send you a replacement free of charge. All that you have to do is send back the K-Cup holder along with the RMA # and the new one will arrive ASAP. The key is to tell the rep that you received it as a holiday gift this past season which keeps you with the 12 month warranty. Good luck to you!

  • Ok Guys! So i finally called Keurig rather then looking at all the possible ways to fix it on YouTube. Keurig Was Very Helpful! I explained the whole situation. They had me do a couple of things(I had already done). Clean it, Descale it, Clean the Needles and nothing worked. SO they said they are gonna send me a new Keurig in the next 5 days! I never would have thought they would do that. I am Very pleased with their Customer Service and will drink through a Keurig FOREVER!

  • @kmcogarable to clean the unit and to work properly, u must take apart all the the parts that come in contact with water. take these parts to your local hyperbolic oxygen chamber. the pressure must be at 3 atmospheres. place all parts in chamber for 5 hours. after this take all parts and puts in a an enclave sterilizer. that reaches a temperature of 150 degrees kelvin. parts must remain there for a total of 354 minutes.

then take the parts to a neualizer for final cleaning.

  • Before I do this, what exactly is the runner return?

  • This happened to mine too. I took a canned air and shot it up that runner return located in the water holder. I did this until the machine was emtpy, it got out about a cup of water. Seems to work fine now. I bet if you descale right aftr you shoot up some air it would work even better, I may try this too.

  • I think for posting that information keurig should give me a new coffee maker

  • Oh by the way, you can put any coffee you want in a keurig. Just look on Amazon. Look up, Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter

  • Now that we got the smart ass comments out of the way. Anyone have any real information on what i can do to fix this?

  • Buy something that won't break and makes better coffee, AND allows you to use any coffee you want. Many options: aeropress, clever dripper, chemex, technivorm...

  • @renix Next you'll be telling him what kind of coffee to use--since he didn't ask for that info either!

Besides, why buy a coffee maker at all when you can just use a paper filter and a quart mason jar? It's a trick I learned at college. Tuck a proper sized paper filter into the jar. Tightly screw the lid (ring-only not the removable insert) down over the filter. Add coffee gounds & slowly pour the boiled water over the grounds. It'll make very tasty coffee. No need to get a fancy aeropress...
