what day did you go to the airport, i never see any of these planes and its normally dead when i go a 747 at BHX ive never saw that and theresa video where a emriates A380 is there :O

@badboiant29 those planes dont normally fly there there one offs basically either diverts , special occasions. the 747 here was a new airline which lasted about 2 weeks.

at 2.51 are you aloud down the side path there, iv always fanced walking down there but didnt wanna get stopped by the security!!!!

@Goair18 Dont worry about it the security/airport love spotters seriously! im a part of the birmingham ethusiast scheme and get emails to look out for any suspicious things the spotters are just helping them out really... But going there to spot isnt in no way off limits its perfectly fine ive seen loads of spotters there just remember to close the gate! enjoy l:D plus its out side the Airport perimiter gates

@sonnysingh03 :-)))))) happy now, i did look on google maps and seen the path way but wasnt to sure!! iv beent to all the other spotting places except this one, and my camcorder is FULL HD and has 16x optical zoom so ill get some great shots there!!! iwas going to join the ethusiast scheme just dont know how to go about it!!!

@Goair18 i had enough money last christmas to get it but brought something else instead a very hard decision! wishing i brought it now :( i was crying on the plane back from amritsar we had a EK A380 flying next to us heathrow bound at 10 o clock, for 2 hours! about 1000 ft away just didnt have the camera for it :(.

How often does the 747 fly at BHX?

@hypercon64 hardly never no schedule 747's use BHX but you do somethimes get divertions and some airlines have in the past operated from bhx using 747's before 2000 sucsessfully mahan air tried to request a 747 they got turned down and this air line helinec imperial didnt last for long not enough passengers to see this at bhx was amazing trully.

I think I have seen a C17 at BHX, can you confirm this?

@hypercon64 Yes indeed you probly have i think they come around about once or twice every fortnight there sent out and back when they need to. They fly from brize norton to kandahar then back to bhx they treat injured soldiers onboard and bring back the seriously injured.

Nice to see 747 classic @BHX.I watched this aircraft on finals somwhere near Aldridge and IT WAS low approach.BTW its PIA B777-300 Reg.. AP-BHV

Thanks, the 747's always approach low in to bhx possibly due to runway length.

Great footage there, i see your on top of the car park correct? lol the aviation experiance is poor views now you only see the first half of the run way you don'ty even see them touch down any good places that are great for making videos? and taking pictures? maybe you could message me some places and some directions too :)
