Perhaps our local Councillors would like to focus on the take-aways springing up and cluttering the high street.. not to mention the diabetese problem they seem to be causing...
I think Mr Mullaney likes the sound of his own droning, monotone, boring voice. Never mind what the hard working, council tax paying citizens of Kings Heath want? Like jamie83896 said, those toilets were replaced in the not too distant past using tax payer's money, and you want to put something else there that people have to pay yet money for??
And phone boxes? what are you going to do with them?!? not everyone has a mobile or credit!! Try listening to the people, dalek man!
P.S, the lampost is there so people can see and not get raped by immigrants at night and the toilet is there so people can take a shit and not do it in the alley. Leave them both be. That is all.....
Wow, is this guy a shyster. England is falling apart and he's going around talking about the obvious beautification projects they'd like to do. What are you gonna do about the real issues you jizz-knocker?
You talk about the toilets, those toilets were replaced not too long ago at considerable expense.
Filthy and smell, so clean them, oh sorry I forgot council cutbacks again, ( what is council tax used for ) so your answer is a superloo? 20p to go? in other words taxed again?
Thanks for posting that Martin - my personal opinion is that KH would benefit from more greenery / planting (eg small trees in tubs around the perimeter)
What would be great is to have a remote microphone. This would allow me to be filmed some distance from the camera - for example, the camera could be on a roof top and I could walk through the High Street talking.
Quality remote microphones are very expensive, so I'm stuck with using the camcorder microphone.
I liked the toilets being underground, thats when it was safe to walk in kings heath, it used to be a great high street!! now look at it!!Just full of charity shops, where have all the decent shops gone, maybe if the council brought down their fee's then shop owner's could afford to rent instead of charity shops filling them,What happened to the idea of of taking the traffic from around the high street?years ago there was an idea to have a tunnel going under the high street
meeting outside a toilet !!!!!!..are you frm kings heath....i dont think so,you aint got a clue.

1. You are for the Lib Dems so you wont have a say in anything of importance.
2. Re toilets, did you ever see them before when underground, thats dark and dangerous.
3.Who cares about irrelevant stuff like paint colour on lamp posts etc, talk about real issues like jobs and immigration.
4. For poolfarm2, the drugs start selling about 10pm, ive seen ernie there once or twice.

Great job, Martin. You brought green lamposts to the people! When are you filming next? I'd like to be part of one of your videos.

Clutter in the high street?
Who agreed with them being put there? The council.
I do hope the coucil get it right this time, or we'll have another councilor in a few years time saying exactly the same as you.
Tell you what, instead of the council telling people what THEY want to do, ASK THE PEOPLE!
AND LISTEN!

Nice idea, but why are they spending money on this when they're cutting back on care for the elderly and disabled? Where are their priorities?

I'm all for it but why does it take so long to get anything done in Brum.....TWO YEARS!.
In my opinion all the suburbs on the outer circle need a revamp,it used to be nice but most of it looks a complete **** hole!.

Fantastic opening!
More to the point, this all seems eminently sensible. Nice one.

To the other side of either the High Street or Vicarage Road. The pavement is very wide in both locations.
