This is not high definition. HD stands for 720p or 1080p or higher. these videos are 480p if not 240p... and the increase in quality is a square (heightxwidth) so 720p and 1080p beat these by far especially considering that are in wider formats like 16:9 where the width multiplies out to make them even higher than a square relationship

Notice in the video that everyone was linked to this video he said higher def. Not High Def as in 720P or 1080P. It's a bad term, but it's the only was to describe a higher quality of video.

720P and 1080P are just set resolutions. You can make a video look really bad at those resolutions, but it's still 720P or 1080P since you are not removing the width or height. All this tag at the end is doing is increase the quality. Like a badly encoded divx movie compared to a good one.
