Ok, thats cool, good challenge for me to find out :) I'm using KDE myself, though there is no graphic driver out yet for my two setups, but it does work good. Linux is freedom! ever heard about Ubuntu Ultimate? It has both the Gnome and the KDE, and there's no need for trolling around for codecs and stuff since much of it allready is there.
I didn't heard about Ubuntu Ultimate. Now i'm using Fedora 12. I don't like Ubuntu comunity and canonical policy, because it doesn't recognize the other distributions efforts.
Ok, i didn't know that. I suppose with Fedora, you can get almost as much as you can with Ubuntu since its based on Debian, though i've seen on distrowach that Fedora is based on its own. I'm not really sure, but as long as it works, thats fine with me. I have Fedora 12 myself + 20 other linux os i have been testing without any reason to stick with it. But i think i will try out fedora again for some experimenting :)
how did you get this setup. i got it working in a virtual machine. but cant on my laptop. i upgrade lenny to sid then install xorg kdm kdebase-workspace. kdm doesnt start
