Why oh why do the Royal Ballet never tour the regions of the UK? Not everyone can get to /afford to go to the Royal Opera House. I saw The Royal Ballet in,i think it was 1981 at the Palace Theatre,Manchester.Merle Park in Isadora[and the then Director,Kenneth Macmillan,was sitting a few rows in front of me in the Stalls] and four days later, Leslie Collier and Stephen Jeffries in the Sleeping Beauty. Why do they tour the USA<Japan,Cuba,but not Manchester,Belfast and Newcastle? So very unfair.

@ilovefacebookandebay You ought to live out here in Salt Lake City (Utah/USA). Ballet West is a great resident company, but it's almost like the big management groups figure well, they've already got ballet and modern plus a bunch excellenet student companies. What they need is Broadway and popular culture, is what these fools seem to be thinking (about what goes on in MY head). I take umbage, although I did get to see Gakina Mesnetsevna at a Smalltown USA school for cheap.
