Every Zelda game has good music. But sometimes you find the best music in the most unlikely places, and the Minish Cap, which as Zelda game is a small and rather insignificant member of the series, whips out music like this that, if the game were more popular and the music weren't restrained by low-quality speakers, would probably be some of the best in the series.
Oh man, this level. The return of those goddamn Wizzrobes, now with ELEMENTAL INFUSION ATTACKS ;__; The Blue ones from the NES LoZ already put the fear of God into me (I never upgrade to the White or Magic Sword when I play, so they really are fiendish), so when they came back in this game I had an automatic gag reflex and almost spit out my water I was sipping D':
Definitely a bit of desert feeling to it, since it's where you finally find the element you were supposed to find in the sandy dungeon known as Fortress of Winds, two dungeons prior.
With this and Vaati's Palace in 2002's Four Swords, you can see Nintendo beginning to aim the series for some cloudy action. First these portable games, then Twilight Princess's 7th dungeon, and finally Skyward Sword!
I really like the lengthy intro of this song ( 0:00 -1:08, before the song loops) It's fitting for the name of the dungeon, foreshadows how difficult it will be, and sounds angelic!
@strongo25 Why not? Not everyone has that narrow definition of "RPG" (that is only accepting a game with level system, job classes, turn-based action etc. as "RPG")
... ._. i haven't played this one yet...
i feel ashamed to call myself a Zelda fan now

@14imke If you can get over the pathetic difficulty then it's pretty awesome.

After playing this dungeon , I've always felt that every Zelda needed some form of Sky Temple.

This music sounds like it's a fitting bgm for both a Wind Temple and a Sand Temple.

I only like the beginning, before the weird Egyptian tomb music kicks in.

A masterpiece !

It sounds like desert music to me but also sounds perilous because you are so high up in the atmosphere where one wrong move spells doom.

I have never considered Zelda to be an RPG and never will. Zelda is an adventure series, and that is just the way it ought to be. : )

This shouldn't be on a RPG music website.

@bla287 I don't have that narrow definition, but Zelda is an adventure series, not a RPG series.
strongo25 1 year ago
@strongo25 Ok then... it's just that I heard Zelda being called an "Action RPG" quite often

Such a dark and forboding theme. Really gets me goosebumps. Such an epic track.
