Even if I lost 35 to 40 pound, found new hair growing on my head, and found a right foot where it should be. Finally got to see one of my all time favourite groups at The central Theatre In Chatham last night - Absolutely fantastic show!
They sang all their hits ( except for never get to heaven) and those wonderful songs brought back so many good memories.
They were punctual, chatted to the audience, and came across as warm-hearted and genuinely nice guys as well as graet singers and showmen.
Had a lovely evening and thoroughly will be back to see them whenever I can.

This music brings me back to a much happier time & I wish the people could feel the love I felt in the 70's & early 80's
Untouchable music and singers here...the best music ever..no music like the music from back in the day...not like the crap today..No one cared if you were white, black, gay, straight, young or old, we all got along and had SO much fun!
Those were the daysand I wish I can turn backt the hands of time..Proud to have been in the era

Those certainly were the days my friends...this music will live on and on, not like the crap! today.. Everyone got along, no matter what color or race..we all partied together and looked out for each other., I truly miss those days and thank Goodness for UTUBE...to give us all the good memories that will last forever.. I am 56 and feel like 21 again when I hear this phenomenal music.. OH Yes I can still dance :) moving and grooving..

@LBJTV..Not only the music memories the people were the best as well.. no matter what coloror race we all got along..who knows maybe when you have children this world will be like it was 30 years ago..and your children will have those meories...This music will definitely live on for ever...so JUST ENJOY and absorb it all.. yeh it would be so good to go back in time, and yes we can all dream, but just on the chance that you ever get the opportunity to go back, please please, keep me in mind and give me a call, I would be delighted to accompany you, and if possible meet with and mentor my younger self. But then we get into that whole paradox thing. So that might be a bad idea.

no worries Martin, I have a lot of friends here on the tube trying to locate that time machine and let me tell you I will definitelty give you a holla and also you can have the seat next ro mine :) but be prepared once we go there is no turning back! Heck I wouldn't want to come back anyway..

Thats a date Denise, but can I book another 3 seats for the wife and daughters as they would like to go back also. even my daughters who are 16 and 11 YOA and did not live through those times, think the music was better and though there were probloms in many parts of the world, people had more time and respect for themselves and others. Oh well, I guess that is what some in their ignorance would call progress. Happy easter and have a great weekend.

Lol, Of course Martin, The time machine will have a "WE ARE FAMILY" section.. haha I am certainly going to bring my 9 month old grandson! I would not want him to miss this trip back to memory lane...and you know yes, there were problems back then as well, but life was so much more calmer and peaceful then it is today.. So pack your bags, and get ready for trip back in time...

Hi back from the girls and I. No Denise unfortunately we cant. While you listen to the music close your eyes and Picture any Irish man you know, lets say liam Neeson, or Pierce Brosnon with an extra 35 to 40 pound, a balding head and 2 left feet. Yeh not prity is it?, Ger and the girls have been trying for years to teach me rhythm on the dance floor, no luck yet so I think it best to boogie where no one can see me. Or evrybody close their eyes, thats not good on a dance floor.

Aah thank you, thats a firm offer I have from you and Kitty for boogie lessons, and who knows some day I may hold you to it, and dont worry I dont lack confidence in any way, what I lack is rhythm. Even if I lost 35 to 40 pound, found new hair growing on my head, and found a right foot where it should be. I am quite confident that I lack rhythm, and move like the rusted tin man from the wizzard of Oz, before he got all oiled up. HAHA the girls are nodding and laughing as I type.

Your so sweet, but trust me all my rhythm is in my head and it refuses to move. I dont know if you have ever seen a double pendulum swinging, well thats me moving on a dance floor. If you have'nt seen one you migth find one on You Tube. ps sorry for the delays in posting back. I am poping back and forth, You Tube and job stuff...

Thanks for sticking with me Denise. But the problom is not shaking my booty, it's shaking my booty rhythmically. I love the music, I feel the rhythm in my head but it gets lost on the way down. So there I dont go! haha!. : )

Thanks Kitty. Na, I dont feel bad about it, I am one of the most privileged people I know. if a lack of rhythm on the dancefloor is the only thing missing in my life, then WOW! I'v hit lifes jackpot. I am so blessed with evrything else in my life, and I can still listen and clap to the beat. BTW That is one very impressive rèsumè you have. Where do you find the time to Boogie.?
