  • 2:53 ... What is he thinking?? The harmonica is out of time and in the wrong key. It sounds like someone killing a cat!

  • They edited out "Moon River"!

  • Michael's hair just rocks in this clip... :-)

Firefox + Ad Block Plus = Problem Solved

  • Dont forget the Cunninlynguists are from Georgia

  • What they looked like when I first met them at a record store in NC. Real. They sang for their supper. Lady Gag I know you've worked hard... not this hard though.

    REM Forever.

  • Amazing song, great bass line...

  • killer song from Reckoning still sounds great!

  • In the 1980's while Britton was cheeseing out all the multi colored mullets and synths shit songs , REM proves that Americans were still as powerful artistally music and creative nothing came out of europe worth a shit to be compared to REM athens Georgia Little Richard came from Macon Georgia, the southern part of America United States has kicked ass in music for the past 100 years up till this day europe dont have shit on USA in music less intelligence is all i have found in the euro sound

  • @fromthispoint The Smiths > REM. and it's 'Britain' numpty.

  • @pythonbyte REM >>> The Smiths

  • @fromthispoint Little Richard, Ray Charles, B-52s, Allman Brothers, endless country singers to name some talent from GA.

  • @GAdawgsfan93 How could you forget Otis Redding?

  • @decenthypocrite wow, i completely forgot that he was from GA. The point is, some of the best musicians come from Georgia, no matter what genre of music.

  • @GAdawgsfan93 ...and let's not forget The Godfather Of Soul, James Brown!

  • @fromthispoint This is just a silly comment. Britain didn't have a monopoly on "multi colored mullet and synths shit [sic]," nor did the US have a monopoly on "powerful artistally [sic] music and creative [sic]."

  • What happened to the 'Moon River ' bit ?

  • @ScotRanger1960 I was thinking the same thing! I guess that it's something legal due to the fact that Moon river was written by Johnny Mercer and Henry Mancini (I think!). So I guess VEVO couldn't show that part!

  • @Isengard2626 Yeah, annoying that isn't it. You'd think they'd want the free publicity wouldn't you. Well, I have the full video on a VHS tape somewhere. I may upload it and see how it goes.

  • @ScotRanger1960 Nice one! That'll be good indeed!

  • When did this clip get VEVO-fied? I don't remember it being so before.

  • I like the jawbreaker version. I also like this version.

  • The epitome of classic Rock and Roll

  • Michael Stipe has always had a face that reminds me of a Greek statue. Beautiful...

  • Wow, I don't even recognize Michael in this video. He looks so different with hair.

  • wow, that host looks so much like Mike Mills! At first, I thought it was a joke -- Mike Mills talking with an accent.

  • Saw them twice in the 80's befor the mass mupets got hooked on them
