@niels0650 Arnie always had trouble with his abs, look at the series of shots of him here and he really doesn't have a decent ab set. I hadn't seen this many of them all together. Great upper body and he even got some legs going but never really a decent set of abs. How would he go if he was in competition today? Who would have thought back then he would end up having the life he has had. Just shows you I guess, dare to dream.

@adastrarize not true, in the second half of his bodybuilding career he really brought in his abs (AND HIS CALVES which used to be a major problem), 1. lost his "baby" fat, 2 keep in mind that most poses back then were not about FLEXING your abs but about pulling your stomach in (vacuum)..... his waistline was near peferct, unlike the giant stomachs of today....... this is the one main difference in why 70's bodybuilders looked better, waistlines, no one was bloated or hanging bellied

Nowadays, most leg press machines move the weight along an incline; sometimes the angle is shallow (like on most circuit training leg press machines) and sometimes it might be as much as 45 degrees (as on many plate loading leg presses). But back in the day the plates were loaded on top and the weight was pushed vertically.
