  • I just saw one of her last movies titled "The Invisible Ghost" with Bela Lugosi. She was older but I could see that she was fox when she was younger.

  • Thank you for putting together such an elegant and tasteful tribute to Betty Compson.

I was fortunate enough to see her in "The Barker" in 2008 and hope to see her in "The Docks of New York" on the Silver Screen someday, too. [Crosses fingers]

It's nice to see her memory kept alive through the miracle of the Internet. She was a beautiful lady and a delightful actress of whom I hope to see more of in the future. Thank you for allowing me to get another glimpse of her. : )

  • I would love to see 'The Docks of New York' myself. I will be releasing another tribute to Betty sometime in the future (with all new images).

  • Thanks for this. I love seeing all of the old Silent Era photos and learning more about some of the forgotten actresses.

  • Actually we can learn from the past` these people obeyed a social law! which was respect

for the audience and the Arts. Today most performers want to shock the audience` but

not truly romance them into appreciation.

This lady was a emblem of her craft` and a

lovely example of repecting the Arts.

    Vintage music very nice touch.

  • This is really great to see these beautiful pictures. People just don't know about the history of how we got to today in movies and forget these pioneers.
