@1996TheRocketman for $500 bucks all you can really get is a used jonboat off of craigslist. check out craigslist that where we get most our boats theres some nice ones on there. the 16ft aluminiumcraft might be around $500 thats probaly the only new boat you can get. we do alot of bass fishing and bay fishing for redfish, trout, and flounder. and offshore fishing

@raplamaster03 okay my cousin who lives next to us has a 18 foot bass boat he recently upgraded to a 300hp mercury. we had to reinforce the transom to take that lode. the boat is practictly ours and we can take it out whenever we want without them. top speed 111.3. beat that fagggggg. the 170 hp boat is a mercruiser 470. four cyclinder high compression engine. it has a steal head, and a aluminum block. i have an alpha 1 gen outdrive. the rpms on the motor shuld be between 3900 and 4500. fag!

@howryadude my battery is just a starting battery and its pretty crapy and messed up and still works. its only gone dead once but they souldnt tho because when the engine is running it will charge the battery up, its pretty cool. i electric start because its alot easer to start it up.

Nice boats but one thing for you. Don't start your motors out of the water. Running the motor without the intakes being in the water can kill the engine in 5 seconds. Belive me I know from experiance.
