@Editfan first of all read it in the king james and thats not what it says, and it does not order it, nor endorse it. context is key read it in context The context of Psalm 137 is the babylonian captivity. the Psalmist speaks of the captors tormenting the people of God (v. 1-3), a promise to remember Jerusalem (vv. 5-6), and a curse against the captors (vv. 7-9). it was revenge and no where does it say God approves. however since this was done against jews it is recorded in Gods word.

@mrsir7Yeah, why don't we go ahead bashing everyone else's religions, because a man who has been dead 2000 years, sitting up in the sky, washing away billions of peoples mistakes every day with his blood is so much more likely. You have your religion but don't act so arrogant and call other people's religion garbage. We don't need more close minded people.

@fastfeet66 We send ourselves to hell by not accepting His forgiveness, which is the only thing that can clense us from our sin--Jesus Blood. Jesus is real and alive, if you would look at history honestly, you would believe, dont be afraid or closedminded---or biased..........Jesus can save you

@mrsir7 Well how were people supposed to go to heaven before Jesus, considering people were alive thousands of years before that? How can you be so sure of someone being alive for thousands of years without you seeing it yourself? It just seems to contradict all other science and probability. Also I would consider myself agnostic. When people die I think that the energy is conducted elsewhere, since energy does not die, and maybe the energy groups together and there could be positives and negat

@fastfeet66 people went to heaven before Jesus by the sacrifices of lambs and such by the Jews, the old testement is full of that, Jesus was the last so to say lamb. I have zero doubt in Jesus, He made a difference in me, a life changing one, that among other things makes me absolutley sure. seems and does is different. God is a spirit, Jesus is God in the flesh, God did that so he could save us. Biblical stories have often been proved in archeology, its not symbolization

@mrsir7 Also, if there is a god, he wouldn't be so shallow as to send good people to "hell" simply because they don't believe in him. That is something close minded humans do.
