ESC never was and never will be a fair song contest.Politics and alliances due to vicinity was always the basic voting crιterion not good music or talent as it should be. Postugal 2008 Spain 2010 and France 2011 are the blatant examples.Few are the times when the best song won.

I am French and I agree with your choice for the year 2011. Not because I am French but because Amaury Vassili was one of our best representants since 1977 (year of our last victory). He was the favorite of the English bookmakers and I saw him at least in the top 10. I did not uunderstand why he came on 15th place with his amazing voice!

@panosamb it is an injustice indeed, I liked it a lot, but remember that the song must be likely to all the european countries if it's possible, 'cause they'll be the ones that are going to vote your country (I assume you're a greek or from cyprus hahaha, maybe I'm wrong :) )

2005 - Well, I was pretty satisfied with the winner that year. If I had to pick another winner, I'd pick Ukraine.

2006 - My less favorite song out of those we have sent but hey, thanks. Still better than Lordi. :)

2009 - Nah...boring.

2011- Not so much. My winners were either Austria, Italy, or Estonia but Azerbaijan was one of my favorites.

Its disappointing that no small countries like Andorra, Austria, Swiss, Portugal, and even Bosnia are at a great disadvantage with hopes to win the contest. Stupid politics. But great video.
