Yes it'll work fine. Your Wings are attachments, not replacement. But it won't work with anything that uses Channel 13, a hidden animation channel used by developers in IMVU to add extra animation to the player. For instance, my Death Scenes won't work with this item.
There's no way currently to turn on and off animations. It's just not a feature supported by IMVU at this time. But if you just wait a minute, it wears off by itself. Sorry, nothing I can do to make it more interactive until we get access to scripting functions.
If you apply another object after applying this one, and it uses Avie Mesh Channel 13, the last object will replace this one. Other then that, you just type in the command and fly. You will land after a few minites on your own.
