One day she wakes up and everything's beautiful, the other everything just doesn't feel right. She told him she didn't want to be in a serious relationship. I know it sucks to be in his position and she shouldn't have said what she did in the end of the movie, because that'd only hurt him. It's just way more complex than all of that.

I actually liked the ending, because it told us that Tom still got a second chance at finding love. It was meant to be a bittersweet ending, I think. He didn't get Summer, but at least he found his Autumn.
