Just arrived home last night after a fantastic holiday (weather not good though!) Spent most nights in the Irish Times which, although quieter than usual (like everywhere else at the moment) was still great. Derek and Mark were on top form as usual - they make the bar what it is. The Irish Times would be NOTHING without them!!! A highlight for me was Mark singing "The Island" - not as good as his dad, but brilliant all the same! Can't wait to see you all again in February.
The Irish Times in Los Cristianos is, without doubt, the best bar I have ever been in. Great service, fantastic staff and top entertainment. And, in Brian, the sexiest bar manager in the Northern Hemisphere! We have been going in for years, and it just gets better and better. In fact, we think its better now than its ever been. Mark is superb on guitar and is a real character. And Derek on keyboards is a genius, there's no other word for him! Keep up the good work!
Yeah, great atmosphere in the Irish times,for all ages. Although I think Mark maybe a bit of a ladies man, good luck to him though..cos nearly had me fooled, but not quite ha ha.

Beening going to irish times last 4 years bril pub. Proposed to my wife on stage there after playing a set with the lads on the ole bodhran,out in May cant wait will bring some proper tea and sodas.

I have just got back from a holiday on which I constantly visited this masterpiece of a bar.If you go to tenerife make sure you visit the irish times bar,los cristianos as both derek (left) & mark (left) are both extraordinary musicians, able to blast out a few stonking tunes.

Yes, Derek and Mark are both back in the Irish Times. It re-opened a few days ago - can't wait to see them again in a few weeks time
