A common story I hear is people having to carry their elderly parents and move as fast as they can. My hat goes off to you, and my greatest sympathy to those who didn't make it.

god it makes me sad that they speak English better than most Hawaiians. and i don't mean Hawaiians as in the race but the people who live there.
