  • Did you get the whole chasis chromed and then start working on the areas you were going to paint?

  • @vmite correct, in this case we chromed te whole frame and then once we paint we cover the chromed ares, lugs, drop outs so they stay chromed. i prefer to do it that way, so the surface will stay the same and so the paint will look smoother. others can chromed specific laces but that creates a difference in the surfaces and the paint is not as smooth

  • drillium AND a cinelli super corsa.... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • lol that music made me feel like i was ravaging through the jungles. :D Nice vid btw

  • Nice bike but that drilling on the dropouts looks a little suspect.

  • no that actually is very 70's when they became obsessed with the weight. it was called the generation drillers. check for that, they used to drill the cranks, rings, handlebars, seat posts. good times!

  • @cyclingthings

Hell yeah, they really made an art of it. I used to ride trials so ive drilled the odd piece in my time. Carbon fiber and better R+D Kinda killed home drilling (and milling)

Just to confirm, it didnt leave the factory like that did it??

  • this one was like that, but it was custom made from the geometry. it was restored and we kept that same feature

  • @mimmymimmymim

If you know about vintage cinelli ,you would know that is factory stock drilled out.
