It is the cut-out of Jack. This was set up because you can first see the cut out turned sideways and second it is turned facing the camera. As they walk away, you can see the top hat on Jack (cutout) . Someone did set this up. Ghost my arse!
I really have no opinion on this, nor do I really care it it's a ghost in the window or a cardboard cutout. But one thing that is for sure, is that in the first window picture (between :06 & :07 seconds), there is SOMETHING in the window. Cardboard prop? Shotgun? Big Wooden Leg? Coat Rack? Who knows, but there is something in the window. And then :36 seconds, there is obviously SOMETHING else there. It looks like a boy to me. But one thing that is for sure, is that in the first window picture (between :06 & :07 seconds), there is SOMETHING in the window. Cardboard prop? Shotgun? Big Wooden Leg? Coat Rack? Who knows, but there is something in the window. And then :36 seconds, there is obviously SOMETHING else there. It looks like a boy to me. But one thing is FOR SURE: It's not what was in the 1st picture.

There is a story behind this and i'm not lying..the boy u see had fallen from that window..his family had previously lived in the apartment which was used for the film..strange thing was that no one on the set noticed anything when actual filming was in progress..they only spotted the boy after final editing was done..it was too late to cut or refilm the scene..

Ok, I do think this is a ghost.
This cut out nonsense is obviously fake because when we see the window door thing less than 15 seconds before we do not see the little boy.
Plus, the ghosts clothing are a much older era of clothing, so it could not have been a local boy who snuck in.

theere is no any reality during film making process. I belive crew did not notice that boy he could be anyone then they realised their crucial fault during post and eventaully they mae up this story in ordr to cover their big mistake.
I wok on movies and I see lots of ghosts like this in many sceneses sometimes a crew member pops in sometimes anyone during shooting.lol..

seriously watch the captain disillusion guys video , he uses a cleaner video and you can tell the silouette is leaning like the cut out, and once again you can see the shape of the top hat, also danson wasnt wearing a bow tie for the cut out pic.

I'm pretty sure it's a cardboard cut out, because if it was a ghost, it probably would have disappeared after the actors walked past it, because in every ghost video I see, they're usually only there for a second and gone if you catch them on tape. second, when the actors continue to walk across, you can see that the "boy" gets kind of thinner, like if it was a cut out, and if it was a ghost, it's head would probably follow them in the direction they were walking in

The cardboard cutout in the beginning is not the ghost. Go to the end of the clip at 0:47 and look directly behind his neck and back and there is a nose and mouth in the white curtain of the window

@AndieVallon look man I don't think that it's a ghost but I have to disagree with you on a cardboard theory, see I reviewed this scene few times even in a different videos and in every video its the same look carefully on the window with the kid you see him when they walk out from the room and look at the same window when they entered the room in 0:06 there is no one there! so it can't be a cardboard cause the kid is not a part of the scene so there is no point of it!

Check the framing and panning of the camera from left to right as Jack (Danson) and his mom entered the room. That window is obscured by the door, as you can see by the position of the lampshade. Since the camera moved in following them, the window is then visible when it pans right to left.

@LynxCoding Which only compounds YOUR ignorance, because in the initial panning, Danson OBSCURES the window as he and his "mom" entered the room. Also, that panning was FASTER compared to the panning as they were leaving the room, and the latter had a WIDER angle.
