@lilmissvix92 Read the books, I'm certain your opinion will change. It's based in the future, in a world much different from our own. It's about a lot more than just kids fighting in an arena. There's love, tragedy, war, suspense, violence, etc. The story has a lot of sci-fi elements to it as well. The books are incredible, but I can see how you may not be interested if you've only seen the trailer, because it's sort of hard to follow. But trust me, read the books.

@Roxy4ureal You really should read it as it is like the best book ever! x Basically it's in the future in a country that had a civil war and split into 14 "districts", one leading called the capitol who are really rich, district 13 rebelled and the capitol blew it up so every year to remind the other districts that the Capitol is in power they chose a girl and a boy randomly from each district and make them fight to the death in the arena xx Hope this helps :) x

@OliviaIsNotAwesome the books are definitely worth a read, so many of the comments I've read on fan sites are people who are happy with the ending, but yes people do die, things are very sad and i don't really want to spoil anything for you but there are emotional turmoils, it may have just been me because of the particular things i became most emotionally invested in. All that being said you should read these, the best books are the ones you get emotionally attached to.

Just because they didnt show the cornucopia doesnt mean it wasnt there. remember in the book it said the most valuable things were clostest to it. the back pack was farther away from it, so u wouldnt be able to see it. maby the boy she fights will try and grab it from her a second later? idk maby, maby not. i still think its gonna be a great movie even if it doesnt follow every little detail.
