  • We still wave to this song. The recording was made in London May 13 1931.

  • Gorgeouss, can't have anough of this record

  • Soothing melody prefection in orchestration and vocal.

  • The sax section is superb - and how! There's a gorgeous, haunting quality about this recording that evades description. Makes me think of warm breezes on a summer night... one can easily imagine a ballroom packed full of gorgeously attired London society dancing to this in the early 1930's. The remarkable versatility and utter brilliance of Jack Payne's BBC orchestra is strongly in evidence here, and I love how the vocal effectively closes the song...

  • Good rythm - the drums and brass are great dance music.....

  • I like your vid clip and I've rated it as awesome. Please check out mine on some old cigarette cards of 1930's celebrities, including: Jack Payne,Shirley Temple, Joan Crawford, Gracie Fields,Kay Francis,Clark Gable,, Greta Garbo, Katherine Hepburn, Ginger Rogers,Norma Shearer.

  • Got a year for this one Bobby?ps keep posting dance bands..love em

  • the most beautifull sound I ever heard of a dance band, those saxo's make me soft as wax

  • Still my favourite!
