nice set up.....try upgrading the tone arm to a rb350..its very close to the sme3009 at a fraction of the cost and your speakers look to close together...you need a minimum of 6ft between them...
Very nice set of components. I assume that you sit on the couch to listen. My only concern is how close the speakers are together in contrast to how far away from them you sit. How is the depth of your sound stage in that arrangement, and do you notice any improvement if you sit closer?
5.5' apart and 11' foot listening distance. I would rather sit 2-3' further, but doing that would block the living room's entry. Stage depth is okay, IMO. If I sit closer, everything grows to unreal sizes...
As per most of the audiophile 'propaganda' that I've read as well as personal listening experience, the sound stage and individual instrument placement seems most accurate when the listening position and the two speakers form an equilateral triangle, with each note length of the triangle being roughly 1/2 the width of the front wall of the listening room. By contrast, what you propose is more akin to a sharp isosceles triangle. I may give it a go.
I believe Naim SBLs are designed to sit closer together and throw sound out the way rather than be further apart and "toed-in" as is the case with most speakers.
Nice. Thanks for sharing!

I like your set up dude. The curtain/blind is I think a good idea. I am having sonic problems with my own room.
Have a god life ok...
