  • Want some watermelon seeds.... you can buy a pack of them in the garden section at WalMart.

    Jim

  • no seeds?

  • this was very smart...

  • thank you Sir for the guidance. There is always something one can learn from experience and wisdom of a senior mentor that comes with age. God Bless you always.

  • OK Fleetingray, how is the right way to do it?

    Jim

  • this is not how you cut a watermelon =/

  • thanks

i'm 30 y and didn't know how to do it

  • since its an old guy lets not hate

  • This is seriously rocket science!

  • Right, I just tried this and I've ended up with a bowl of red watermelon goo and seeds.. I'm pretty sure this one is rotten though :(

  • hey thanks for the tip!

  • This actually helped me haha. I cut my watermelon in half the other way, like down the sides, not the tops. Thanks!

  • omg now this is so strange, I was watching the video and you sound like my Dad and he had the blood brusies on his hands like you do and he was in the Army too and get this his name was Jim...he passed 11 months ago :)..thank you Jim for showing me how to cut a watermelon..my Dad did it differently tho lol...HUGS!!

  • awesome

  • looks like watermelons from usa dont have seeds. watermelons from eu do have seeds

  • @vasyuey Watermelon is available in the US with or without seeds.

  • thanks for the video, know i know how to cut my watermelon

  • Thanks cookin' cowboy you're the man.

  • You'd be amazed at the number of people under about 25 who can't count money.

  • If the army shows him to cut a watermelon then god must have shown us to mKe

  • You can't cut a watermelon?..... Really?. That's like saying I can't count money.

  • This is an awesome way to do it and not have a big mess

  • hey old timer it really worked thanks for youre help thanks for youre service to our awesome country

  • hey old timer it really worked thanks for youre help

  • Quick and informative - the best kind of instructional vid! This helped a lot. Thanks! :D

  • Thanks for the comment but cutting it that way allows you to use the rind as a bowl. It not only represents the army way of doing things but also the cowboy way which is to create the least amount of work. Cowboys don't stack their plates so they won't have to wash both sides :-)

  • You are so smart! Would you please show us a video how to eat watermelon!

  • Hello Sir! First, I want to thank you so very much for your services for our beloved country. Ok, now I am wondering if you can post a video that shows the same thing as this one except when you're finished with all the cuts, instead of picking out the cubes, what if you just turned it upside down? That's what I thought you were going to do but, lol, you didn't! Just curious.

  • you're awesome =) thanks for your help!

  • Thank you! Thank you! This is the best video on cutting a watermelon I've seen!

  • I've just tried this now and it worked a treat! Thankyou.

  • wow ur so smart LOl ive never thought of this @_@

  • Jim that makes it seem so easy. No fuss, no mess and you cut a whole watermelon in 3:30 mins. Enjoyed it. Then enjoy a lot of what you post too

    Thank you anna

  • why aren't there any seeds in that watermelon?.. Americans...

  • @MarvinBrantklev Probably because it's a seedless watermelon....

  • @Fokker1915 Genetically modified to be that way though.

  • @Fokker1915 Seedless waterme.... WHY HAS NOBODY TOLD ME ABOUT THAT YET

  • @Fokker1915 we actually don't have that in sweden

  • we actually dont have that in sweden

  • @MarvinBrantklev lol...What is your IQ?

  • This is INCREDIBLE. I couldn't believe how easy it was. Why would anyone cut it any other way? I had easy cubes that I put into a big ziploc bag, had watermelon for more than a week, mess-free.

  • so simple. i never would have thought to cut it like that. thanks!

  • This helped me so much especially with fourth of july!

  • This is exactly what I was looking for! I dread cutting watermelon because of all juice spilling all over, but this method not only eliminated that problem (except for the minimal amount when halving the melon) but it was quicker than any other method I've tried. Thanks so much for the tip!

  • hi guys watch my video its called watermelon carved into beatifuil roses by hand must watch

  • @baghlan6 -- Kewl, guess my approach is more utilitarian than artistic.

    Jim

    L

  • Today I got a Pineapple to celebrate the Fourth of July with. The only problem I have is I don't know how to cut it. Can you do a video on how to cut a pineapple? Thanks!!

  • Good idea, I'll do it.

  • How To Cut A Pineapple is up now.

  • This video was really helpful, immediately went out and cut my melon and it came out perfect.

  • Thank you! Can you show me how to cut a canteloupe?

  • Our favorite way to eat canteloupe is for breakfast. Cut it in half crossways, remove the seeds and fill it with cottage cheese. Then eat it with a spoon, leaving nothing but the rind

  • Repetition is the mother of learning!

  • I think that it was a great video, and pay no attention to those know it alls. Everyone's in a hurry to go nowhere.

  • Someone is always trying to tell me how to do things; I just ignore them. What amazes me is the number of people who log onto it, 650 in two weeks.

  • Thanks SO much :)

  • Great video - will try that cut next watermelon we do.Never saw that method.

  • Jim, I had no idea how to cut a watermelon before watching your video. Thank you for the clear instruction!
