  • Muad'dib...

  • or is the continue of inama nushif

  • @TheValentyn2 well i think its "summon the worms" but more sad sounding

  • @2girls1bucket1 thank you!

  • 3:52-5:05 the sad part ^^ the song is 100 % compatible with that part. any1 know that song?

  • this song just make me cry lol :D

  • final fantasy movie

  • this song is eternal

  • amazing... i like to play this song when i play morrowind or oblivion lol i know random but i do:)

  • outstanding tribute.

    i approve of this effort.

  • Too bad there isn't going to be a God Emperor of Dune or any of the others. This I thought was the theme song for the series.

  • parádní hudba, něco podobného doporučíte?

  • Nice work skatterkat ... :)

  • I lovveeeeeeeee thisss sonnngggg...simply amaaazinggg

  • Thats cool that little pearl is the pearl of awareness that Leto passed on into the worms when he became one, also the soul in FFVII

  • when i die, this is soo gonna be played at my funeral. absolutely beautiful.

  • @tessarox98

... you're not gonna die ... you're going to Arakis to serve under the Leto VII :)

    ... you'll see me there!

  • well done :] I like it :] stepped aside from dune series - this song fits almost any beauty, love, hard times come and gone, connections between those... and beyond. In a amv...it is the moments that you chose, and how the pictures fits the idea and timing in song you have chosen for your vision. How they complete each other. yep, I am good in saying the obvious :) you have done it well *****

  • so touching this song

  • Thanks for this. It's one of my favorite tribute vids I've ever seen, not just specific to FF. Absolutely beautiful.

  • Let me just say, you did an amazing job with this. No doubt its the greatest music tribute on Youtube for Frank Herbert.

  • i like how perfectly the rain in the clips is to were the soft music at the end pics up slightly XD very effecttive XD

  • AMAZING VIDEO! Thanks for taking the time to compile a video to go along with it, I appreciate the F out of you! :)

  • Wow... Simply, wow. I love this video, and I can't get enough of this song.. I've watched this video probably 20 times in the past week, and I am still loving how you've put the video pieces together, it really flows well and matches the music. I can't imagine the time and effort put into this video, but I thought I'd let you know that I really thank you for doing so. Keep up the good work!

  • FF VII and COD... um...

    I gave it 5 * though

  • omg! i have finally found this video! i found some true form of Lucifer vid and the song was the same here. i didn't know what the song was called so i commented asking bravodawson the maker of the vid the name of the song. and it's been since september! apparently he/she has never logged in over a year ago and thanks to a random person i was finally able to find this song! (annoyed/angry face!)

but this song is so serene and stuff, truly beautiful and epic. thank you so much, you are true!

  • lol I actually asked in that exact same video, the lucifer video, about what that song was. If it wasnt for the 3k+ stupid comments about people arguing over religion you woulda seen me saying what the song was after I found out :)

  • Thank you! :D The whole soundtrack is actually amazing, well worth it on iTunes!

  • @TheScourgeable LOL, I found this song the exact same way! But nonetheless, both videos are true works of art.

  • Looove it!!! One of the best Advent Children vids I've seen in a while. Everything matches perfect. Great job and I give it a 5/5 :)

  • The singer is Azam Ali, but the langauge is Frank Herbert's Fremen, which he constructed. Taken from his dialog in the books by the producers, Azam Ali just pronounced it how she thought it should sound.

Fremen is very clearly inspired by Arabic.

  • yeah, its a mixture of arabic and scandivanian languages

  • Hatt al-hudad, al-maahn al-baiid ah-yah idare adamm malum... This song lives on forever.

  • This video really touches me...it´s so harmonic...and the spng...simply beautiful.5/5 + fav

  • Good effort. You matched the themes of what were watching with the song perfectly. Thanks for putting the translated lyrics there, because it actually worked.

That said, just a little criticism. Please don't take it the wrong way. When the music ramps up near the end of the song, we need to be seeing a lot more action. Dialogue heavy scenes don't work well when we can't hear the dialogue.

After two years, the advice may be a little late, but there it is all the same. Cheers.

  • Lol nay your opinion is much appreciated! I actually agree with you for the most part, for people who don't know FF7's plot it's probably just a load of pretty pictures, unfortunately I was quite stuck for footage at the time so I had to use dialogue scenes -_-; and some slo-mo x_x If you do know the backstory though then you don't *need* to hear the dialogue cos the song tells the story of what's really going on. O purpose. Uh, totally. Hope this reply makes sense, it's an insomnia baby! :P

  • The language is Chakobsa, which is a fictional language spoken by the Fremen race from Dune by the author Frank Herbert. It draws on concepts and phenomes from Roma, Serbo-Croat and Arabic but is not actually any of these languages.

  • the language is arabic

the singer is ''Azam Ali ''

  • @34kursad61 It's not arabic, it's a fictional language.

  • That's "Fremen", a language from the Dune universe. I don't know to what extent it has been created, though... (i.e. if it is actually functional)

  • One who can find beauty even within sorrow is truly blessed

  • very deep. and i completely agree.

  • i felt goosebumps when i read your comment...

  • nice

  • i actually never seen Children of Dune until ofcourse i heard this song... I just had to watch it =p Its one of my favorites now.

  • unbelievably well done, you took a beautiful song and added beautiful shots to it. 5/5

  • Very good job of keeping to the Children of Dune montage style with the Final Fantasy scenes. Nicely done!

  • One of the nicest videos that I have never watch.

    Great job :D

  • Even though this was created for dune you have done well in puting it in final fantasy lol, great job.

  • Beautiful xx

  • awesome video for awesome song :-)

    gj men

  • rly great job

  • I love this!! Great job! Very well!!! Lovely!Awesomr! So deep!

  • a nice song eventhough i havent watched the movie...

  • Damn !!!

    This song is so pure...

    Thanks for the feelings

  • not a bad song I guess just not my thing.

  • It's fremen language. The words are taken directly from the novel.

  • Having read all the Dune books (finally!) and watched Children of Dune...too many times... I just want to say this was a wonderful re-imaging! I especially like the vignette starting at 3:04. Also like that you led into the next musical piece and brought it to life again as well!

  • Nice!

  • it sounds like half arbic and half indian

  • That is exactely what it is! :)

  • Isn't the name for the Fremens language, one from their Zensunni heritage, Chakobsa?

  • Something like that, yeah.

  • why final fantasy 7 to a fremen hymn? seems strange.

  • Why not ff7 to a fremen song? ;)

  • What language is this song ???

  • Its a fictional language called Fremen from the 'Children of Dune' soundtrack.

  • A beautiful video with an epic song.

  • Great vid!

  • i typed "Inama Nushif" in googlt=e translate and it says that its azerbaijani or azeri, idk...

  • It's called Fremen. It's a made-up language from Frank Herbert's 'Dune' books. I Googled the lyrics myself so I've no idea really how accurate they are! :D Pretty though ^^,

  • Amazinigly beautiful! What language is this sung in? anyways 5/5 i really enjoyed this~ ^^

  • Best part of the mini-series. I love Inama Nushif .

  • OMG, I heard this song a LONG time ago, when I was little, and I loved it. Great job, wonderful video! Keep up the great work! ^_^

  • You have taken a most amazing song from a wonderful sci-fi series and matched it perfectly to a masterpiece of video game inspired animation. Kull wahad!(I am profoundly stirred)!

  • good job!

  • Oh wow. I remember this song from watching Children of Dune. I think you made this very beautifully. 5/5

  • Skatterkat, I'm not a gamer so I don't yet know much about FF7, other than the beautiful images scattered across the web. I am, however, a huge fan of Mssr Herbert and his Dune writings. I think you have honored Dune and FF7 with your post. Many, MANY thanks! Five Stars and tears in my heart (but I don't yet understand why). Great work!

  • so beautiful...these songs make your heart sing...

  • Love this. Especially the subtitles. Such a lovely song.

  • kali mata aaaaa...aaa U mean:Kali bakka a tishuf ahatt (Sacrifice is her gift)

Al hudad alman dali alia (that Alia will one day equal)

  • Haha u caught that huh? Ya I modified the lyrics in that line as there's no character called Alia in FF7, I thought it would confuse people otherwise and the adapted lyric still captures the spirit of the song I think.

  • This video is amazing! You have incredible touch!!! you picked up the best fragments and you've put it together with wonderfull sense and smoothness! I give 1000/5 ;)

    The music is beautifull too!

  • I agree...and I happen to really like Children of Dune and FFVIIAC

  • Yes U're right but Alia one of the main character in children of the dune and this song tell her story "she is eternal".And first that song was the soundtrack of the same movie. And fremen is a created languages it can be possible that is similer than indian and arabic

  • hi ähm...... well i just wntd to say tat if u listen closely u cn hear tat tsi song s some kind of hym to kali mata (she´s a hindu godess) so i would say tat its no fremen language after all bt some southern indian langauge through which i dnt k bcz i nly speak two indian language. well i just wntd to say tat. nd of course da song is just beautiful

  • The Fremen language, Chakobasa, was adapted from Arabic and Indian dialects. It IS a fully developed language unto itself, but based on several real world dialects.

  • and slavic

  • It's fremen languages by frank herbert: Dune

  • Never heard this song before but I fell immediately in love with it...!! Wow! Azam Ali's voice is amazing and wonderful touching...

  • wow

  • amazing <3

  • That was so beautiful.

I've watched advent children loads but the way you showed some of those scenes made me feel as if I was watching it for the first time.

  • I feel the same way. It was like a whole new emotion. Aeris' loss was more poignant, when Vincent is looking at Lucrecia, the emotion was more tangible. Cloud's sadness... this video is amazingly beautiful. Tifa's strength, and yet her weakness. Beautifully rendered.

  • The movie children of dune is a serious sci fi movie but its epic though, this is were the song comes from. The song is very relaxing.

  • wow, sounds Hebrew, Arab and Mongolian

  • I've posted on this video b4 but I just have to say I never get tired of this vid!!!

  • Magnificent work. You've certainly succeeded, this is a five-star and a fav.

  • This is very beautiful and moving. Spledidly done. I give it 10 stars.

  • Still my fave:)

    great harmonic composition1

  • Such a fine mix, and so well done, thank-you.

  • this song is so graceful its amazing. this is one of those songs you listen to at a bad time in your life...

  • Beautifully wonderful WoW I lost myself in this song...

  • In skatterkats defense, it's true, these lyrics and translation are the most abundant in the web.

  • Truly well done, you did very well keeping the tone of my favorite scene in the move.

  • VERY nice use of the tune, very well done.

I enjoy the additional instrumental and applaud your use of it to finish off the song.

  • this is doctored. the song is "dune" based. thinking otherwise is misled. its sad that the lyrics were altered as well. anyone who is familiar with dune would know better. the animation plagiarism is amusing though.

  • Inama nushif al-asiri ayi Lianni zeratha zerati al ir huda alman albaid aya libarri adam alam Inama nushifa al asiridar inufis zeratha zerati Kali bakka tishufa wahad al'ir huda amon a gawlih "Though we deem the captive dead yet does she live For her seed is my seed and her voice is my voice And she sees unto the farthest reaches of possibility Yea unto the vale of the unknowable does she see because of me Let it be deemed the captive lives, for the seed is our seed He sees far off in the ...
  • Meh, I just googled it and used what lyrics came up, I strangely never actually learned how to speak Fremen, or Klingon for that matter, or Al Bhed or any other fictional geekass language, seeing as I have a life and all that. ^^,

  • Actually the lyrics used are ACTUAL words meshed together from at least two foreign languages ;)

  • lyrics are off as is the translation

  • Awesome job, great Vid, great Song.

  • Sorry, I don´t know Final Fantasy very much, but it seems to be a great production. What´s the name of this film? could anybody please help me:)

  • Hm, I should have read your info..;)

  • It's Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

  • beautiful song, thank you for this video!

  • Wow, that was amazing. you capture the feeling so well. great choice in music too :) Wonderful video.

  • i love you god please always be in my side and protect my family. I love you so much!

  • I don't know what the footage is from aside from the title you included in the info but this is one of the most beautiful videos I've seen.

  • For sure one of my faves! Thanks for making this.

  • My friend gave me The Children of Dune DVD as a birthday gift. Im eternally grateful because thats where I first found out about this song =)

  • great number :D ! great movie ! i think its the best sci fi movie i have ever seen !

  • im more of a Leto II person myself

  • Is that just because he runs around shirtless? JK i love him, too...though i like him better when he's the manipulative emperor.

  • hes very sad though lol hes more worm than man

  • more worm than man...^^...that sounds funny...but yes...it is a bit sad but beautiful ending^^

  • Strach zabija dusze!!! Muad-dib

    Dune rules

  • very nice. good work. great song. Dune rules. Muad-dib!

  • I love Final Fantasy!!! I love this song! You´re amazing!!! O.o 5/5 stars!!!!

  • I've loved this song ever since Sci-Fi first aired Children of Dune. While you did a good job with the video (lord knows it's better than most of the dreck AMVs people post on here), the song really makes no sense within the context of AC, if you know what the lyrics actually mean. It's not about "love, loss and sacrifice", it's Jihadist propaganda about St. Alia. You'd have been better off choosing a different song.

  • Thank you Sinistralwing, but have you actually read the books? 'cause if you havent, Its kind of no good to be spouting the know-it-all attitude.

Just so you know, i agree, but dont act all-knowing if youre just quoting the movie or the tv series (whick rock by the way)

  • i rather thought the song was about both. Alia propaganada and the death of Chani.

  • Umm...well, if you look at the words, they're all about Alia...not even a mention of Chani or her story/character...sorry. They put Chani's death in the movie, but also a whole bunch of other things, like the death of the Reverend Mother, the Ambassador, and Korba (who's cute btw)...

  • Looking back I think some people may be a little confused. Look at the lyrics, separate them from Dune. Then take what's there and apply to FF7. There is a case for it originally being about Alia or Chani, but in this unique case it's about Aerith. No single interpretation is canon. (Such is art.)

  • Love Inama Nushif, "She is Eternal" Spoken in true Zensunni Dialect. made for CoD

  • I used to rewind that scene over and over after CoD came out, and I think you've produced quite a lovely tribute.

  • Thank You for this beautiful video, this is my very favorite one

  • I Love You.......... Thank You.......

  • OMG! where did you find the words!! I totally thought I was the only one that used this song for a video (Wolf's Rain) that is awesome.

  • i love this song i sing to it all the time not the english the fremen nice 1 5 outa 5

  • NIce movie I love it well done

  • Beautiful song and video. I am impressed...

  • i can't stop listening to this song!

  • ditto

  • I never get tired of listening to this song, love the video that goes with it! :)

  • Love The Movie Children of Dune so happy I came across this Love the Music so...breath taking...your video was very well done *smiles*

  • Marvelous

  • where i can download this music?

  • This may sound ridiculous, but whenever I feel down and starting to lose my faith in mankind, I listen to music like this. And each time I think: A species who can create something so heartbreakingly beautiful cannot be utterly corrupt.

  • not ridiculous

  • After watching COD I really enjoyed this song. there is something sacred and spiritual about it. Although I did not know the meaning to the lyrics till I looked them up. The vocalist who sings it is Azam Ali.

Inama nushif ( she is eternal)

  • Wow this is beautiful. The ending nearly made me cry. Great job!

  • this is beautiful, wonderful job.

  • 5/5 stars EASY!

  • dis is really beautiful...it calms me down alot^^!! jus wonderful...n it also has some sort of a magical mystic touch..hmmm..^^'

  • id like to see someone take Children of Dune and make a mix of their own to this song.

  • You mean take footage from the miniseries and set it to the song? Hmmmm, intriguing concept! It'd be hard to top the montage scence though, that's just... perfection in a bottle! *drools* ^^,

  • this is true. they did hit magic with the actual montage scene. maybe they should use footage from the original david lynch movie.

  • This had me nearly in tears.

  • Beautiful.

  • where did the visuals come from

  • They're from the movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

  • That was awesome, it was very touching, especially the ending.

  • dis is video is really truly wonderful!!!! great job ^^!!
