Wait wtf? I have Microsoft Security Essentials thats NOT the fake version right?
I'm freaked out because I did a FULL SCAN THAT TOOK 3 HOURS and they found a Trojan. I clicked remove and it said successful so maybe I actually did get a Trojan?

@YoMama844 nop i think it have the same thing, but thats old, it will take you like 30 hours to get a copy of that virus, so don't even worry about it

This program called Advanced Registry Optimizer. I don't remember HOW I got it probably from this weather application I got from weather.com and there was a bunch of ads. I might've accidentally clicked one and downloaded this Advanced Registry Optimizer thing.
I uninstalled it and it SAYS it uninstalled but I have this feeling its not. HOW DO I GET RID OF IT? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

i got a message like this and i got freaked out so i clicked the remove viruses or whatever on it. then i had a download i thought was from microsoft but i saw the image was a piece of pizza and i got suspicous. was that message fake also? it opened up a different link and at the corner it had the virus message and there were 3 different viruses that i dont remember
@RougeDoctor It says Trojan.FakeMS in my Malwarebytes.(Quarentined) Is that the same as the fake MSE or is that something different?Also should I keep this Quarentined or should I delete it.When I ran MSE for the 1st time,it got rid of fake trojan downloaders(Java Exploiters) & 3 other things from my desktop but hasnt caught anything since in 2 months.Im starting to wonder.Any idea? Thanks!
i had this virus and was able to disable it watching a vid online. i used malware bytes to remove the trojan. how would i know for sure that my cpu is safe to use and free from infection? my browser is still a little slow
When i was bored and testing rogues in a VM, this one was the first one i ran. (I hit the button for AntiSpy Safeguard)
I then found out that the process blocking code was sloppy enough that you could copy taskmgr.exe and iexplore.exe to other things and they would run anyway.
Because from the start i knew straight away that this was bullshit and that they were just trying to get money out of you. But sadly, i never knew how to fix this. So i ended up formatting my PC TWICE because of this none sense shit.
How do you fix this? So that i won't have to FORMAT my PC once more lol.

My AVG software didn't do a good job on this one.Did search on my computer for
hotfix.exe and deleted.This fixed the problem.How I got it...watching video..message you need Adobe flash upgrade to latest ver.
