I have to agree with you, particularly about her accent, I think she is a rebel and she will not be told how to sing.she is so genuine,  I travelled to Halifax to see her last Saturday and I was delighted. Love the cup of tea on stage bit. Don`t be fooled though when she needs to be serious she is. I checked her guitar makers site (Details on kates last album "Make the Light" )and the cheapest guitar they do is about £4100 .

I am so looking forward to my vist to the Victoria in Halifax to see Kate, I used to live in Clayton, Bradford, which was in easy reach of Halifax but I live in Rotherham now which is a little more demanding but to hear Kate sing will be brilliant and no chore at all.

The prosody is perfect. I would have loved to hear a little accordion. It would have given it a little more romance.

Love her voice. It colors the emotion. I love some of the phrasing....a few places, not. Tropic Isle seems rushed. Why not hold on "TROP"?
