  • The Candy-O era was put on B sides of the 45 records

  • Ben was ne of my cousin['s good friends. he was the lead of the Nervous Eaters - played with the Cars in Boston at the Rat in Kenmore Square. Benjamin

Orr, said my cousin Steve, was one of the nicest guys he has ever known. God rest your soul, Benjamin.

  • that doesn't look like elliot easton to me???

  • This from their greatest hits compilation, beautiful sounding demo from The Cars, gotta love it

  • Don't believe I've heard this one before either. I really like it though. You can't go wrong with Ben's voice. That guy could sing the phone book and it would sound great!

  • Could have been a Badfinger composition... Nice songwriting and sound.

  • @babachewbaba Actually, this is on The Cars Anthology and Ric Ocasek is listed as the songwriter/composer of this song

  • @Gina97xls I know it's the Cars... I was just saying that it sounds like something Badfinger would have done. I love both bands!

  • nothing girly about the cars !

  • Is Elliott Easton standing on his toes? What a clown!

  • high heels....

  • I don't know how they could leave this song unreleased.

  • I know. It's one of my favorites!

  • @aenigmate doesn't appeal to their New Wave fan base

  • Never heard this one before; Perhaps a B-side or unreleased ? Really pretty hook ,Godspeed Sirs...*

  • Anyone know what year this track was written/released ????

  • I am not sure of the release date-but try the deluxe version of THE CARS-their self-titled 1st album...

  • Being on the deluxe version of their self-titled 1st album, might suggest it was written somewhere around 1978?

  • It is on The Cars - Anthology/Just What I Needed. It has a few other unreleased songs, and demo versions of others. 2 disc set.

  • BTW Thi is a demo. Never released as single or on any album untill 1995 collection.

    My favourite!

  • Very nice song. And Ben`s vocal is excellent.

BTW: Where are you from? Your nick sounds like Polish or Slovak (maybe Czech)...

  • i reckn this is a damn good tune . word up

  • Ooh- love this song- is it from Cap n' Swing or from Ben's unreleased solo stuff? Thanks, Slance!

  • Nope - The Cars. :P
